Everything was fine!
We were even able to find Free parking down the street where we stayed for 3 nights.
I'm not a big fan of people living in hostel for long-term rentals as it break the vacation/travel vibe and makes it a bit weird sometimes.

working kitchen. yeah!
if a drainer is places next to sink, it may help to get dishes organised
if an explanation offered for the event of fire alarm, it would be more helpful
some signs in english may be helpful for international guests

Almost everything was perfect. Best place for a short trip to Heidelberg.

Toilets are limited and for showers we didn’t feel any privacy as curtains were only there .

The hostel is at a good walking distance from the HBF. there are shops around to get meals. Breakfast is basic but good. It's a quaint hostel, the staffs are very helpful. I have recommended this to my freinds and i will come back here again.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the high standard of cleanliness and the quality of the equipment etc. The tea and coffee for free was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and the night was calm and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. The location was a major advantages for me.
Only minor details here: I would certainly appreciate more fridges in the kitchen, better lights in the rooms (they are a bit too bright). And also it would be nice to have a separate plug socket for each bed with a place to charge a phone (I've seen that in many hostels already, very simple to make and it comes in handy).

Located super close to the train station with lots of cool hiking and camping shops in the passage on the way through. The property is huge, located on the upper floor of a big brick building, there is an old elevator but it's very well hidden.
The women's dorms had no bunks, we all had single beds in partitioned off areas, the lockers were too thin for my bag but there was plenty of space next to my bed to keep it there. The bathrooms were all clean, the shower rooms were well designed and had enclosed showers that kept the rest of the stall / your clothes dry.
The kitchen was a large communal space equipped with free teas, cocoa and coffee. Fridges, kettles, microwaves and hot plates for cooking. Although a school group was dominating the space for much of my stay the hostel still kept a friendly atmosphere.
The place was very old fashioned but that made it feel homey despite being in such a large, formerly industrial space.

Good location close to Heidelberg station. Not bunk bed, very good. Nice and big kitchen and have free coffee and tea. Staff is nice to recommend Heidelberg attractions to go.
There is dust so I have to clean up. Elevator is very old which is my first time to use that. There is a group of students stay in here and they made noisy from upper floor which is not hostel’s fault.

Very conveniently located about 5 minutes walk away from main station on the 3rd and 4th floor of a building seemingly housing multiple businesses. During check-in you get a small electronic key (looks like a button cell) on a lanyard that opens your room as well as the main entrance which gets locked in the evening.
As expected for a hostel the comfort is limited but all facilities are well maintained and clean. There are multiple toilets per floor and the (lockable) showers have small cabins in front where you can leave your clothes. The kitchen provides everything for basic cooking and there's a shared fridge. Each room has lockers for your personal belongings. You need to bring a padlock yourself (not too small or it won't work – see picture) or get one from the reception for a deposit of 5 Euro. The staff is very friendly and helpful, in general.
The breakfast is rather basic and could offer more variety, especially if you stay for more than a few days. The rolls are fresh and very good, though. Your sleeping quality depends a lot on the others sharing your room but that's not the hostels responsibility. They do provide earplugs if you forgot to bring some of your own :-)

Staff was very friendly and happy to arrange a special request regarding the luggage storage. Thanks! Kitchen and rooms are clean, showers could be a little cleaner. Other than that, great location, great people, great facilities. Highly recommend!

Fine staff. Great location, especially since I needed to catch an early morning Flixbus. Room was very large and had only regular beds, no bunks! Elevator worked well. ( I had heavy luggage.)
Breakfast was ok for 8€ but nothing special.
Sounds trivial, but the flat sheets we are given to make up our beds are too narrow for these beds ..

Very nice place with good social areas. Super big room and ample space in the lockers for everything. Showers were a little dirty but it was manageable.
