Location, hostel full of charm, very efficiently run. Complimentary coffee/tea and milk/cereal was nice.

Lotte-The Backpackers is one of the most comfortable hostels in which I have ever stayed.

Everything about Lotte, from its heritage to the location and the facility was near perfect. Lotte is convenient to both Heidelberger Schloss and the many wonders of Alstadt. The facility is clean, orderly and offers a most comfortable common room and kitchen. The dorms are very spacious and comfortable.

Germany, but because of Lotte Hotel, I

To be honest, I don't have a good experience of staying in Germany, but because of Lotte Hotel, I would like to come back to Heidelberg next time. The satff are really nice and make me feel family friendly. The bed is so so cozy as I fell asleep when I lay on the bed. Also, it's super convenient as it's in the old town and easily to hang around. Many thanks for the staff and hotel! I will strongly recommend it to others as much as I can.

Very warm cozy comfortable stay

The host was very welcoming and the rooms and the restrooms were kept spotlessly clean and tidy .Also they had a kitchen to cook food and they provided free milk and cereals for breakfast.situated at the city centre just behind the castle.

I loved the staff, they’re nice! Place is clean and is homey and comfy. People chatting in the common area, kitchen with free meals (cereal, milk and fresh fruit).

The Lotte team was extremely welcoming and super friendly. The hostel was super clean; the kitchen had all you needed to store food and cook; the bathroom spacious and clean, perfect downtown location.

PERFECT!

Everything was perfect. This was the best hostel I have ever booked and been. The place located in the city center. Rooms were clean, kitchen and bathroom was good. They have several map you can take a pin where do you come from? When it comes to the stuff, she was extremely kind and affectionate. If I ever find myself in Heidelberg again, I will book this hostel again without a second thought. I highly recommend everyone to visit this gorgeous city and hostel.

I loved everything about this hostel, a perfect common room with many memories and pictures, clean and comfortable, very lovely, positive and helpful people work there. Guest recommodation corner was also very nice of them to think of!

Amazing & Above exceptional!!

Everything. Starting from late check in arrangement. All the places in side the hostel (Shared room, kitchen & living room, bathroom) felt like you're at home. Very close to Heidelberg Altstadt station and Heidelberg castle. Complementary coffee / milk.Met Carmen (host/caretaker) during check-out and she was wonderful too! This is place to be hold and would definitely visit again!

Best Hostel you can ever find in Heidelberg

I don't know where to start. Place was absolutely very clear. Workers/owners were super nice, you cannot believe. Kitchen tools and everything were fantastic. They have a coffee machine, it blends directly from coffee beans and it's totally free. They labeled everything, which is super helpful. And the location... Location is literally perfect: Not too much noise but you can be in the real center in 5 minutes by walking. Absolutely perfect, I will definitely come here again.

Everything. Best hostel I've ever stayed in. Staff are amazing. Kitchen is well set out. All day tea, coffee and cereal. Bathrooms are very clean. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable.

Lotte is one of the best hostels I have stayed. I decided to extend my stay after my first night there. Although some nights some types of rooms were fully booked, so that I had to move from one room to another. However, all of them were great! I already introduced Lotte to many of my friends and I would definitely stay here again when I revisit Heidelberg!

I love the whole atmosphere and the positive vibes from all the lovely staff and owner, Carmen! I love her work ethics. She is an example of a not bossy boss Shout out to Riccardo for putting up with me and my never ending bla bla about Italy.

Some guests who aren't so familiar with the guest house lifestyle were not so nice telling others to be silent in a communal kitchen or lounge. On my 3rd morning, a middle- aged woman and another young lady wanted maximum silence in a communal kitchen or lounge at 8am while guests were busy making their breakfast.

The best hostel I'v stayed in so far. Carmen and the others are very friendly and accommodating in all forms. The place is so home-y. Met the best people here too. Would recommend this to everyone esp solo travelers.
