Would not recommend for those who wants comfort

The room was clean and pretty for pictures

We (family with kid) were placed at the attic (4th floor, be mindful as theres no elevator in the building), the room was freezing cold, theres one heater for the whole room but did not function as intended.

Please buy a new bed

Room 24 was nice. The hotel has a modern style and a very good location. Tho it is not in the center, you can take the tram to the center and will be there in 10 minutes. There are cafes & shops nearby.

Room 34 was a disaster. The bed was extremely squeaky. The matrasses were too soft, so the bed made noise at every movement. We slept very badly the first night, tossing and turning and constantly woke each other up. There was no Wifi reception in the room, so Netflix didn't work. The next day we asked to be moved, thank God room 24 was free. Otherwise we would have probably moved to another hotel. Please, for all of us, please invest 300-400€ for a better bed and better mattrasses. Since room 24 was better, I'm giving a neutral 6.

Cheap but not recommended for Summer

The staff was so nice and told me about how the hotel works. TV also has Netflix for free.

Auerstein mono bedroom have difficulty, first, the room climate machine doesn't work well, so in case the climate is warm, you need to open the small window you have. And it's not a good option

Perfekt

Cute little boutique hotel, wooden floor, coffee machine and kettle, comfy bed. Residential chic area of Handschuhsheim but very close to the center, parking for free possible in the side streets.

The location is a little bit next to a bigger street but my window luckily went to a side street so it was quiet.

Lovely hotel

Lovely furnishings, nicely decorated, a unique vibe. Comfy and quite spacious. Friendly staff on arrival. Nice safe area. Worth noting that we were (kindly) upgraded from an economy room to the deluxe room, so cannot comment on the economy rooms.

Nothing as such — might be worth noting for some that the property is quite far from the ‘old’ town centre, though there is a tram close by. We didn’t mind walking in, the area is lovely and nice.

I liked colouring of the room and the quietness. The restauant of the hotel in the main building was very handy to have and the food was very good.

Probably my fault, but I thought I was accommodated in the main building. But I was accommodated in the 'side building', an extra house, which was 300 m away. The room I had was VERY cold as it was directly located above the staircase on the ground floor. I twas difficult to heat up the room and it was so cold that I had to leave the heating on over night. That was a clear Minus Point. It was not possible to book breakfast with the room.

Very cheap, and tram stop right outside, so good location.

No airdconditioning, the room was very hot and it was uncomfortable keeping the door or window open, since people walked by all the time (room was in the street floor).

The location was nosey and there was no A/c or fan in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows were dreadful. Overall would not recommend at all

Absolutely great. We loved this hotel.

Big and airy and the bed was enormous and really comfortable. We have family in Heidelberg and we will definitely stay here again. Absolutely spot on.

Not much. En-suite was a bit tiny but perfectly fine. There was a lovely terrace and we could see there was a bar and restaurant but they weren’t open! It’ll be an even better place if they ever do open up.

there are 2 hotels one which is very lovely arranged and decorated and there is one other hotel across the street and this one is not as warm and welcoming and as a single woman I would not feel so secure as the door is giving to the street directly looks more like a motel

Nice city break.

Location was great: arriving by car was easy and I had booked the parking. Also reaching the city center was easy: tramway stop very near the hotel.

It was not possible to have a breakfast in the hotel.

It’s beside the tram line which may annoy some but the windows seemed to block out most of the noise and I live in a busy area so I am okay with it.

Comfortable welcoming and the staff were very helpful

Location was good as only 6 stops from the old town and 7 to hbf. Easy to find and 2 minutes from tram station. Disappointed that no local shops, you needed to go backbone stop for a grocery store. Excellent all around Felt safe and comfortable and for a single woman traveller that is important. Highly recommend for an area out of the bustle.
