Lovely hotel, small beds

Friendly staff. We had to wait longer than expected to be able to check in and they offered us a drink at the bar. Hotel looks great, the lobby is beautiful.

The queensize bed was only 1.40m. I simply cannot imagine why they would choose 1.40m over at least 1.60m as the room was large enough.

A good hotel with very accommodating receptionists and in the Center

The receptionists were very helpful and professional. Beds were comfortable

TV wasn’t working the first day. Shampoo, cream in the room were empty. I was forced to stay green although I didn’t hang the card on the door as I needed my room towels to be changed since we had them soaked for he is on a wheelchair. I would have preferred to have the option to have a mug to be able to drink regular coffee as I don’t drink espresso

The hotel room and the facilities were pretty and comfortable

The staff at checkout tried to charge us the room twice, we also wanted a bathtub and checked in for a bathtub but we didn’t get one and the sauna was closed

Indeed expensive for such low-Niveau service.

Modern and historical combination. Well Bar service, the bartender’s job much appreciated

It was a non smoking suite. But someone smoked in the room. The evidence was the ashes at window inside. The check in was terrible. No smile. No welcome talk. No guidance. Cold like a robot. Not carefully with the coat. TV in bedroom doesn’t work. Room was not organized well.

Centrally located and within walking distance to trams stops and restaurants. Their free breakfast was outstanding offering a wide variety of pastries, cold cuts, cheeses and even bacon and eggs. The staff was very nice.

Great hotel for a short stop over especially if travelling by car as a family. Quality furnishing and exceptional breakf

The advertised restaurant open until 23:00 was not a restaurant but a bar with bar snacks only, we have planned our trip around arrival after 21:00 after a long 6h drive with knowing that Germany does close kitchens around 21:00 for food orders. We were excited that this hotel offers food up until 23:00 which was the reason we have choosen to stay here above other options. But after all even we had to walk to the near by petrol station to get food, the room and breakfast room and quality of breakfast food deserves a return trip and a praise to NH hotels. If only there could be a way that food could be served for guests arriving late , this is a constant issue in Germany when travelling from the UK by car.

The breakfast is great and there are lots of fruits and breads, even there is a sort of wine.

There is no asian food but it's not bad.

Low quality beds, synthetic linen, and staff that preffered you didn't exist.

I liked the location. As for facilities, the room was spacious enough and the shower was good.

The mattress was of poor quality, with excessive motion transfer that allowed even minor movements to disturb the other sleeper. I wasn’t expecting the standard of a Four Seasons or other high-end hotel, but this was well below par. The sheets, too, were overly synthetic and lacked breathability, adding to the discomfort. Given that a hotel’s most essential duty is to provide a good night’s sleep, this one failed badly. And then there was the remarkable fact that the front desk staff seemed determined to pretend you weren’t standing there waiting to be helped. They were either on the phone (without so much as a glance or a quick acknowledgment that they’d be with you shortly) or simply absent altogether.

The worst hotel night in my life ...

Comfy, spacious room with tremendous view. Good breakfast with vast variety of options including gluten free stuff. Nice design with visible attention to detail.

We were robbed in this **** NH hotel in Heidelberg. From the locked room and locked safe, cash and other belongings were stolen. Although such incident might happen at any time and any place, the way it was handled by the hotel is just not to be accepted. Keeping distance to what happened in the hotel was the only strategy of its staff and the management.

Inviting lobby area, lots of space. Room is very large relative to other places. comfortable bed and bathroom. Free cocktail was a nice touch. Not too close to old town but a nice 10~15 min walk. onsite parking garage

Did really like to visit again, I always had good stay in NH hotels, this is my first complain.

Breakfast was wonderful, had everything I needed, really enjoyed the breakfast. The Location was Perfect for us. we walked down from Train station to the Hotel. Really enjoy the Sauna both dry and steam area. Helpful and Friendly staffs

There was just only one complain of an unpleasant smell, sewage smell I guess which we had in the room as well as the Spa area

Hall entrance hall is nice.

Shower had almost no pressure. The bed wasn't very comfortable and noisy when you would move. Location is fine. Welcoming lady at the reception was OK. Departure gentleman at the reception was sympathic and more friendly.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There are many areas around the hotel to find a quiet place to read or get some work done and the bar is expertly managed. The staff is both professional and friendly. The breakfast is very nice and worth waking up for. We enjoyed it very much and plan to return.

There isn't too much immediately around the hotel, but there are some fairly good cafe and food options. The hotel is not in the Altstadt, but is still a short bus ride away. The only slight negative note is that the breakfast staff seems a little overwhelmed and understaffed. No problems, but it was hard for them to keep up.

Exceptional

Modernisation by connecting an old brewery is a big feature of this hotel. The big open entrance space including common living room space with bookshelves is very cozy. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of different things including sparkling wine to start a good day. Facilities and amenities in a room were enough and all furniture and room design created a not-heavy atmosphere.

I found parking fee was a little bit expensive as I expected a discount fee for hotel guets.

Good choice for a weekend away in Heidelberg.

The beds are comfortable and the location is good. The building was very nice.

One of the receptionists was very rude, when we asked for a room with a double bed, which was specifically requested and approved in beforehand. Thankfully, another receptionist stepped in and handled the situation gracefully.
