Convenient stay at the ha

The location is very nice, right next to the heart of Handscuhsheim. The room was spacious and convenient. The option of renting a parking spot in the courtyard was very convenient.

A divine stay in Heidelberg

We loved our stay at the DK Heidelberg! The room was very spacious with two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom. While some previous reviewers mentioned soft mattresses, we actually thought they were just right (and we prefer hard mattresses). The location worked well for us as we needed to be close to the hospital, which is just 2 stops away by tram. The tram is a quick 5 min walk and gets you everywhere. Also the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The pillows could have been a bit thicker and firmer. Also the bedrooms would benefit from power sockets by the bed for phone charging etc. But these are minor issues - we loved our stay thoroughly!

Hotel DK, Heidelburg stayed Wednesday 23.07.25

We were in Room 6 on the second floor. Three of us. My daughter had her own single bed and there was a middle area with 2 sofa chairs to watch TV. Great space in the room.

Was very warm but that was not the hotels fault of course. Also took a while getting used to having no overhead lights as the fan was there instead. But they made up for this but having lots of lamps everywhere.

We were in Heidelberg in very hot weather. There are only fans in room no aircon which made our stay a little unpleasant. Also there was no bar fridge in room even though there was a space for it.

Relaxing and pleasant stay

The room is beautiful and has plenty of space. Everything was super clean. It was very quiet at night and we could sleep very well. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel is beautiful.

Everything was great! Having a possibility to make a tea in the evening would have been even better :)

Beautifully renovated boutique hotel. We had the family room with two double beds and it was extremely spacious. Location is fine (we walked the 40 minutes into town) and on the way back took a slightly longer route back through a salubrious suburb and park with great views of Heidelberg.

We stayed on a Monday night - looks like local bars/restaurants are closed Monday evening.

Very modern, clean, big rooms, parking in a city where it is complicated to park. Well decorated rooms, with a welcoming teas. Good to have a real bed for the kids. Nice breakfast, fresh and with reusable dishes also for the marmelade.

it was too warm - only one ceiling fan and no AC

having purchased a more expensive quadruple family sized room which stated it had 2 single beds and a double bed I was very disappointed to arrive to find that only the double bed had sheets on it. I had specifically chosen this more expensive room so that my mother and I would have beds apart from each other. when I informed the owner I was told it was a extra charge to get sheets on the other bed and that couldn’t be done until the next day so we ended up sleeping in the same bed for the full 3 nights. combined with the sewage smell in the bathroom I would not recommend staying here - instead go for a hotel in the centre of the old town and save yourself the travel time

Spacious, comfy rooms in a quiet area close to the center

Spacious, well maintained, clean rooms. We had two big rooms for 4 and 3 people and both had large bathrooms with bathtub, we even had a fridge and sink. The location was nice and quiet and close to public transport. There aren't many restaurants close-by but trams to the center only take a couple of minutes and go frequently. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back!

There is free street parking available but when we were there, it was a bit hard to find a spot. However, the hotel also offers parking in their yard for an extra fee if you want to be sure to find a spot close-by.

The bedroom was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, a very good choice of food. It was easy to get to by tram.

A bit more expensive than we would have expected. It wasn't a great area for finding a choice of places to eat.
