A friendly, affordable, and recommendable hotel.

We chose this hotel rather late because we couldn’t find an one in Heidelberg. I’m glad we stayed here. It was very good in terms of price/performance. It’s about a 15-minute drive by car and has free parking, so the distance was no issue at all. We stayed as two parents and an 8-year-old child; the room was spacious and clean. The person at reception was very helpful, friendly, and informative (I think his name was Daniel). He also recommended a place for us to eat, and it was great. The breakfast was nice and reasonably priced.

There was a heating problem with the radiator. There was no ceiling light, and the bedside lamps also had issues turning on. Since it was already bedtime, we didn’t bother informing the reception — they probably would have helped. it was the first time I’d seen a triangular-shaped one :) It was a bit small. We stayed on the 5th floor and breakfast was on the 6th. Avoid stopping on the intermediate floors and try not to use the stairs too much; you might get lost on the mezzanine levels.

Internet disaster… cheap room

the service at breakfast was very nice. the best of the hotel were the women in the breakfast. very kind!!!

very bad Internet!!! all the time disconnecting. I got the suite room and it was a joke.., the carpet on the floor was very damaged, very old sofas, and it looked very cheap… and basic…a lot of space but very old fashioned-cheap looking.

Hidden pet charges, but decent hotel

The rooms are spacious, staff is nice and beds are comfortable enough

I had called before booking to check pet charges and I was told there was none, I even got a message from the hotel after booking saying there was no charges, but that is not true. If you travel with your pets, there is a 10€ charge per room - this is not much money, but thee fact that they communicate against any charge and then charged is not right.

Hotel near Heidelberg in a matchbox building.

There was an Asian restaurant in the hotel.

There was a small balcony that had strong cigarette odor. The door of the bathroom was broken and was barely moving. It looked like a door that didn't belong to the bathroom frame. The bathroom was very very old and poorly lit. The rooms were carpeted. The rooms had a foul smell of dog poop. We found a corner with a stain on the carpet from where the bad smell was coming.

Pleasant hotel near Heidelberg/Mannheim

It’s close to Schwetzingen City. You can reach the city center by foot in 10 minutes. It’s also close Mannheim and Heidelberg city. Parking is for free.

My hotel room was very smelly. all in all the hotel is a bit rundown but for the price it’s okay.

Big room, free parking, good location to Heidelberg, Schwetzingen (only 5 min by car to nice bakeries for breakfast) or to the highway. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Rooms and furniture could use an refurbishment, quite some signs of wear can be seen. (They were busy with upgrades on another floor)
