A lovely place to lay your head. We'll be back.

We stopped off for one night in Heidelberg, en route to Vienna, and arrived late. Lovely hotel. Check in was seamless and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were good, beds were large and comfortable, and parking was easy. We were all hungry and decided, as it was late, to eat in the restaurant - and it did not disappoint - we were impressed. We walked around the area with our small dog - lots of new developments - and a nice vibe. Good breakfast choice and tasty - as the weather was nice, we sat outside - which was perfect with our dog, as it was relaxed and quiet. We would stay here again.

Qube hotel Bahnstadt is a nice small hotel in the suburban area of Heidelberg. The travel to old town will take you 10-15 minutes via car. The overall hotel is nice and clean. All staffs are helpful and friendly.

Great overnight stay, better than expected.

Nice restaurant (slow service though). Really nice decor throughout the hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff at reception. Location is great, new part of Heidelberg, walking distance to nice coffee shops, playground, restaurants, wine bar, etc. Great for a stop-over or short stay in Heidelberg.

At check-in we had to wait 30 minutes for the room-key machine to be fixed, the staff seemed a bit dismissive about this. The waiters at the restaurant were friendly but extremely slow. They were busy chatting to each other behind the bar, and it seemed that only 1 of the 3 waiters actually served guests and took orders.

Mostly pleasant stay with a few unpleasant experiences

My stay at Qube Bahnstadt was mostly pleasant. The location is great, being very close to the Gadamerplatz tram station. The room was a decent size and well-equipped and clean. It was peak summer when I visited so it was occasionally slightly warm in the room but nothing that was not tolerable. The bed was surprisingly comfy even though at first glance I thought the pillows may not be comfortable. Breakfast was standard, decent, and the same every day.

The only reason I wouldn't give a glowing review here is because of my experience on the last day with one of the female staff walking into my room without permission to remind me that check out was in 15 minutes while I was in the middle of changing my clothes and had called out asking them to wait a minute when they knocked! There was also no taxi service available in the evening due to some concert but none of the staff members thought to inform me about this when I was checking out and depositing my luggage for storage and were not at all helpful with directions or instructions when I had to leave for the airport later. They just shrugged and said I have to walk or take a tram to the train station (while I was clearly panicking), and I had to then run in the rain with my luggage to the tram station to get to the train station. That whole evening was a nightmare and it would have been helpful if they had given a heads up since they seemed to be aware of the no-cab situation. Even if they were not aware, I expected some help with the best way to get to the airport in time since I was completely unfamiliar with the language and transport system (which I have come to expect in most hotels with helpful staff who do suggest alternatives or guide you with reaching your destination). Other than this experience on the last day, my stay was absolutely pleasant and the staff were super helpful with requests and assistance.

Cool relatively new hotel, close to amenities

This hotel was one of the best of our trip, modern and environmentally friendly, great breakfast. Also had a cool rooftop in this new and upcoming area. Close to supermarkets and eateries. Trams close by to get you to Old town.

Loud music

Modern, new hotel, nice rooms, small shopping centre across the street

There was a party organized in the hotel with loud music until late at night. The rooms are well insulated, but we could hear the music. We went to a wedding ourselves that night, but really, how can you allow a party and also rent the hotel to other guests that don’t belong to the party? Also, it is quite far from the city and the main station. There is a tram nearby, but not late at night… Car parking options are expensive.
