Stayed on the top (6th) floor. Room and bathroom are new and clean. Aircon is cold and comfortable. Window faces a construction site and Heidelberg central station, but noise is negligible. Need to create an H reward account to access the WiFi. TV has Chromecast, and works well from chrome browser on laptop.
There's a notice on findings of Legionella, but hotel was kind to offer free bottled water on request. Room service is upon request. I also requested more towels directly from the staff.
Check in and check out can be done DIY via three machines. English menu is available. There's additional city tax at EUR3.5 per night per traveller to a max of 5 nights. Enter your email at the machine for the receipt to be sent to your email.
Breakfast is basic but adequate. Baked beans, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham slices, fruits, yogurt, bread, cheese. Coffee and choco from a machine, and tea bags can be prepped with hot water. Breakfast area is cozy and quiet. One window side faces the construction site, while another faces the railways.
Toilets are on level -1. From the hotel entrance, the bus and trams are about 30m away, walk another 20m to the trains inside the central station. Ticketing machines are available, but it may be easier to buy on DB app.

Easy check-in and check out with a little help from front desk staff. Location near Heidelberg train station, and can get into Old Town by bus or train using all-day family/group ticket. Cafes and food shops in train station provide affordable breakfast meals. The AC controls for my 2 rooms were not working.
