Great location in the city. The hotel was really nice and clean. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, so all in all, our stay was great.
During check-in, there was only 1 member of staff at the desk, so there was a slight waiting period. Then during check-in, the staff member had to rush off for an emergency, but when he came back, he had to deal with other customers, instead of resuming my check-in. Although he was friendly, he still didn't show as much "warmth" as you would like.

First of all the cleaning issue..if you ask for clean and they are miss it they dont have staff to clean ot now..you need to wait next day to clean..only u need to go to receiption to take towel..
and for water..if you will take bottle from them cost u 7 euro ..and you will find machine in reception u can take 2.5 euro !!..
otherwise the location was perfect..

Convenient location right at the start of the old town, easy to get to the train station and plenty of shops and things to do. Compared to the hotels near by I felt it was good value for money for what you got.
Shower drainage was poor in my room. Personal preference but pillows were not for me.

Great location, good amenities, super friendly and very accommodating staff at the front desk. Overall a pleasant ambience.
The daytime room cleaning schedule were unclear, creating some confusion about basic tasks such as emptying trash, replenishing coffees/teas, with the cleaning personnel once entering an occupied room without knocking. But nothing serious, overall.

There is nothing special about the hotel...
Paid parking ! Yes, I knew it while booking. Why do I pay 19 Euro/day for a parking space owned by the hotel ???

Due to its location, it was easy to access to everywhere. Breakfast was very good
Fridge in the room was not cooling properly. And only 1 small bottle of water was placed in the room for 3 guests

The roof terrace was lovely. But not open enough
If it wasn’t for Enrico on reception our stay would have been truly awful
I informed the reception ahead of time via the app that I was travelling with my husband who has accessibility needs. I asked if I could drop my luggage off with my husband at reception and could someone help me as I was alone.
The answer to that was no, not unless someone was free. I tried asking in a different way but there were zero suggestions or help with any alternatives. So I struggled from the basement car park where the spaces are TINY, with 2 suitcases, 2 rucksacks and my husband. Absolutely exhausted after the flight and drive. The basic humanity and kindness was totally missing - let alone customer service
I sometimes can’t leave him alone, and was desperate for a drink, so I asked if I could have a coffee delivered to my room.
I was told no, they don’t do room service. My bad, I should’ve checked but it seems such a basic thing when you’re running a hotel
The only upside was the wonderful Enrico, who could see I was struggling and actually took care of me and helped when I asked. which when you’re a carer for your other half, means the world. So well done Plaza for hiring him.

I did not like the restaurant on the seventh floot that is connected to the hotel via the lift. The personnel specially a lady that was working on Sunday 20th of April at 17.30 (Easter) at the afternoon was very unpolite, rude and talking to me in a bad manner because I asked for a better table considering that the restaurant was empty and the tables free at that time. She gave as a table next to a window and had on purpose the window open

One of the most disappointing hotels we've ever stayed at. From the confusing parking setup with ropes dangling to open doors, to the malfunctioning elevators, and finally the noisy room with a clogged bathroom drain that remained unfixed despite our request — every part of the experience was underwhelming.

Great location, very close to tram links, shopping and restaurants.
Hotel reception and rooms looked good.
The smell. I soon as you use the lift or go in corridors around the building its horrible. However reception area, rooms and restaurant it wasn't noticeable.
Breakfast offer was disappointing and there are better options available within walking distance.

Would have rated this place higher ... but when we arrived at the hotel, after a long day of travelling, we were 'greeted' by a very unfriendly and sarcastic receptionist. I don't think she could have been less friendly if she tried. Not a good start to our stay.

The location, the clean and fresh entrance, hallways and rooms. Seems a recent overhaul of the place. Breakfast was plentiful in terms of choices and very good quality for the most part. Rooms had good airco, though outside it was perhaps only 25 Celsius. Rooms were not overly spacious but decent. Beds were awesome. Bedding, sheets etc, were okay.
We were assuming, not too smart, that there would be parking at the hotel which could be booked etc. Not so. So first night I drove around finding a parking garage, this was okay but not great. Fridge in room never became cold to chill softdrinks or water. They struggled with service as reception is done by one (1) individual who has to do all. So afternoons, early evenings people are queueing up. I chose an online check-out in the morning as the queue was quite large and becoming larger. In the end it worked and we were able to fully check-out. Breakfast was way over-crowded with too many people. Staff had to go above and beyond to stay abreast of all the "customer issues".

It’s position in Heidelberg is good and the breakfast is good.
The listing for this property is misleading. The hotel do not own the rooftop space. It is owned by another business. We imagined we would be able to go out there and relax and read a book etc. you cannot gain access to the rooftop unless you buy expensive drinks or food from the other business. The rooftop space was the reason we chose the hotel over a cheaper one, so it was very disappointing.
Our experience of the front desk staff were that they were curt and even sarcastic on occasions. Stark contrast to other hotels we have stayed at along our journey!
The cleaning of the rooms wasn’t done until we arrived back from a day out at 5pm!! We had to go back out for a drink to allow staff to clean.

In a great location. Modern and comfortable
Our shower dispenser dripped so we had no shower gel or shampoo -we asked the lady to fill them up which she did - but in a few hours it was empty again -so needs replacing -also -on the photo on here there was a fruit bowl in the room -( there is no fruit bowl )

Location is great right in the Heidelberg old town. The rooms' air conditioning worked wonderfully. The hotel provides luggage storage. The breakfast was very good with many good options for meat eaters and vegetarians (cooked peppers and onions, sausage, eggs, etc.). My room was a premium room with a view of Heidelberg Castle.
The hotel was very busy and it seemed that staff was overwhelmed, so the service suffered. Also, for hotel staff: if you're going to enter a room, it's better to knock rather than entering the room while the hotel guest is showering. :(

Central location. Nice breakfast.
Parking was difficult. We tried to get information on parking from the receptionist and all she could tell us was the garage (under the hotel) was full. She didn’t mention that there were other available spaces behind the hotel. We ended up paying €30 to park elsewhere. I would not visit Heidelberg again with a car. The bathroom had my pet hate - small towels. If there’s a fire while you’re in the shower and you have to leave with just a towel around you, it should be able to cover an average sized woman! Also, why oh why do hotels put hairdryers in the bathroom? Who wants to try to style their hair in a room steamy from the shower?

Everything is perfect. Clean, room is cozy, excellent bed, very nice bathroom and great breakfast.
Location is a little bit far from station, but very close to hauptstrabe street.
Very very nice experience. Definitely recommend.
