The Dubliner Hotel & Irish Pub

I had a private room and bath with a queen size bed and a sofa, luggage rack, wardrobe and dresser unit with kettle and teas. Bedside lights, small balcony with nice views. Right above the Pub, but at the time of my stay it as very quiet. 50 steps going up to room but I was aware there was no lift when booking. The bartender who checked me in carried my bag up and another staff member carried it down for me when I checked out. Also no air con but there was a fan which made it comfortable in spite of the heat wave. The walk from the bus I got at the train station to the hotel was a pedestrian street. These buses run often and was only 2.30 each way. I got a 10% discount at the Pub for staying in the Hotel. A very pleasant comfortable stay - Thank you. Heidelberg is beautiful.

I knew I couldn't check in until 3pm, but was unaware the place did not even open until 3 pm so arriving by train at 10:45 am, I had no where to leave my bag except for a kind person serving me lunch at a restaurant who offered to hold my bag for me for 3-4 hours.

Location was excellent. Right in the middle of old town.

The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. The bar downstairs provides tasty meals and the location is superb for a visit to the town. It's right in the centre of everything you might want to see.

It's bus 33 to get there from the station, not 32. Get off at Stadthalle.
