Falklands street City centre House-Free Parking

Location was great and a real bonus having the parking permit. It was nice and clean when we arrived with a well laid out modern kitchen with breakfast bar, good sized fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, crockery, glasses, pots and pans - everything you needed apart from kitchen towels. It was good to have an upstairs and downstairs toilet especially with 4 staying. Good white fluffy bath and hand towels and nice white bed linen. Breakfast bar used in morning and dining table and chairs was good for eating in the evening when not eating out. Little garden table and seats a bonus but garden lights were not working due to no batteries.

The mattresses on all beds were were thin and therefore made the beds very hard, low and very uncomfortable especially especially for adults - we had a lot of broken sleeps. Perhaps the single beds were ok for children but not suitable for adults and the metal bed frames creaked when you moved. Sofas could do with being replaced due to wear and tear, as do the scatter cushions. We used the nice cushions from the bedrooms in the lounge. The TV in the lounge was on the wall above the fireplace - had to look up to watch it. Shower screen in downstairs toilet could be larger to stop water getting onto the floor. Very steep stairs to bedrooms but it is an old terraced house so understood why this was the case so left the stair light on for the children. A few more bright pictures on the walls throughout would make the place more attractive. For me, the most important part of a holiday is somewhere nice to come back to with good quality comfortable beds for a good nights sleep!

Location, own parking spot and a rear garden

The living room area is very tired. Sofas are uncomfortable & grubby. Coffee table is also grubby. Walls need a freshen up. Floor is badly scratched due to people moving sofas to get a comfortable viewing position for the TV.
