I think the need for the door closes on all the internal doors and none on the doors that actually led outside is a bit much. If you had kids they wouldn’t be able to open the door or the bedroom doors could easily knock you over and maybe down the stairs. Maybe sorting a parking permit could benefit a lot of people to use

Well equipped and comfortable house just outside the city walls. Excellent value for money. Surprisingly spacious terrace property, with two sitting areas, a good sized kitchen and two large double bedrooms. The location was excellent: a 10 minute walk into the city centre and less than 5 minutes from the buzzy and popular Bishopthorpe road area with its shops, bars and restaurants. The host provided clear and timely communication about accessing the property and information about my stay and responded quickly to a question I had about the heating.

Nothing - it's a great little property in a brilliant location.

Everything was perfect. Clean towels, very well fitted kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine. As described, 2 bedrooms both with double size bed, 2 bedrooms. Bedrooms are upstairs. The house is in walking distance to the central train station and city center.

More doorstoppers are needed, as the doors were very firm.

The property was in a great location, 15 min walk to city centre and train station. The house had a well equipped kitchen, clean bathrooms and plenty of hot water.

The property was advertised as ‘dog friendly’ however we were told we wouldn’t be able to leave our dog here unattended. Although Pass the Keys were brilliant with communication and came back to us saying we could, it shouldn’t really be advertised as something it’s not. The fire doors throughout the property are incredibly heavy and for someone who is young and fit - even I struggled to open them. It may be worth noting this property would not be suitable for someone with dexterity issues. The bed in the room with en-suite was incredibly noisy and creaked everytime you moved - this made for a challenging nights sleep. The handrail on the stairs is coming away from the wall and every time you held onto it, it moved. The private garden area is just decking and again not very dog friendly - might be worth noting this for future guests. We checked out on the day BST started and actually lost an hour of our stay, whilst this was minor, we asked if we could check out an hour later and this was declined. The property was freezing when we arrived and took about 12 hours to warm up. We did inform Pas the Keys of our arrival time and it would have been nice to arrive in the property pre heated.
