We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Just around the Hotel could been a little tidier. After visiting a number of Guest Houses and B&B’s in Scotland and England, I’ve noticed most do care of the bedrooms through the building, but the outsides are neglected and it wouldn’t take much to increase their curb appeal.

Brilliant location , bedroom nice & clean & comfortable .

Needed a thorough clean in the bar areas lampshades in the standing lamps were dusty and had lots of spiders in them and cobwebs .

Have stayed here before so knew where it was located and it’s perfect , right next to the lake and the boats should you want a trip on one and also plenty of bus stops to take you wherever you want . The staff were lovely especially the bartender the younger guy :) and the waitress on the evening they could not do enough for you and always had a smile on their face . The rooms are big and spacious . The breakfast is nice buffet style although you get just basic tea and coffee you have to buy lattes etc The restaurant decor I love it’s a bit of me and the food we ate 10/10 .

Our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for month. Cobwebs in the bedside lampshades and the coffee table . I took photos ! There was spillage up the furniture for the price you pay you expect cleanliness to be 10/10 . The corridor doors too when some one walks through which was right up to midnight bang so loud and the early staff or visitors going through them it kept waking us up at night and woke us up at the crack of dawn on the morning Down stairs the restaurant had thick dust on the back of the dating that were Benches I don’t remember on our last stay the mattresses been so hard and thin and ours were two single pushed together I just felt Abit let down on this visits which has made me think I won’t stay here as first option again below pics taken from video best I could of how thick the dust was on the coffee table
