The location was great. Nice area and quiet. Rooms spacious, clean and well appointed. Breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant food and service good. Would stay again with less luggage
There are no lifts or porters here, so moving luggage from the lobby to the room was difficult. Also parking is very limited. The hotel should make a deal with the car park next door (reduced rate with a special tag)

Location was good, hotel room was spacious and well appointed. The condiments such as tea, coffee and bathroom cleaning products were nice too.
Parking options were very limited, heating in room was difficult to control as radiator valve was inaccessible under bed, breakfast buffet wasn’t topped up enough with the fresh fruit which was picked over. Food was nice but portions were small.

Location is great overlooking Lake Windermere and just a 15min stroll into the centre of Ambleside.
Room 26! Very noisy, in what feels like the basement, only small window that opens directly onto the kitchen’s extraction, so can’t open it without noise and smells.
