Check in was quick, staff were lovely. The room was gorgeous and clean, beds were very comfy and we had an outside patio area which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and the location was brilliant with only a short walk into ambleside.

Location was amazing and how dog friendly the whole hotel was.
The room was a little hot but there was a supplied fan so that improved things!

Location great, good breakfast, nice room.
Food in the restaurant ( eve ) overpriced , staff at bar stretched which caused tension with waiting customers, and poor service. Would consider staying here again, but eat and drink elsewhete
