The breakfast was excellent! We will not stay in the lakeside rooms again as it is was a trek for breakfast. Hopefully we can stay in the actual hotel next time .

Comfortable and quiet. Bar man named Elliot was very good. Helpful and went the extra mile .
Bit nervous at night as no staff on site. Given a number to call in case of emergency though .

Traditional Cumbrian old lovely building. Best shower ever!
Access to restaurant was a challenge very narrow steep incline. Steps are uneven depths with a loose slab on one of them

Lovely views
Quite far from Ambleside, have to cross a busy road to access accommodation. Room was very dark. Breakfast was disappointing. Seemed to run out by 09:30 despite advertising until 10am.
