Staff were very gracious about holding my bags when I arrived early and was leaving later the next day. Breakfast was very well stocked with typical continental options and hot options for a traditional full English.
Staff didn't seem terribly interested in helping, though they were, in fact, quite helpful. The location for check-in was a little hard to find (the bar in the restaurant doubles as check-in.

Location within easy walking distance to the centre but just far enough out to be out of the crowds. Property very clean and lovely.

Lovely views
Quite far from Ambleside, have to cross a busy road to access accommodation. Room was very dark. Breakfast was disappointing. Seemed to run out by 09:30 despite advertising until 10am.
