Clean room, great size family room.
Smell of cannabis through the chimney in the evenings. Road difficult to cross to get to the pub.

There was little you couldnt like. Would defently visit again
The only thing i could say is the lack of phone in the room i understand a lot of hotels have moved away from this but lots have a whatsapp number you can use this would be really helpful more so like when your in the hide out where if you needed to ask anything or book a table you whould need to go up qnd down the hill so some way of contacting the main building whould be great and ive seen others use whatsapp and it works well for them so you dont have to keep phones in every room guest just use there own to contacting you.

Beautiful spot on the lakeside, thoughtful floor plan to slow diners privacy. Nicely decorated. Excellent outdoor seating area. Our room (70) had a gorgeous hill view.
Parking areas were not not made clear.

Lovely views
Quite far from Ambleside, have to cross a busy road to access accommodation. Room was very dark. Breakfast was disappointing. Seemed to run out by 09:30 despite advertising until 10am.
