Gynandha Ubud Cottage

The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. When we arrived, the staff assisted me by taking my luggage via scooter to the accommodation. The room we stayed in was so spacious, clean and well maintained. Gynandha Cottage Ubud is not along the main road however it provided a relaxing atmosphere as you do not hear any traffic from the many bikes, cars, trucks and people. The garden areas of Gynandha were beautifully kept and continuously looked so lush and full of colour. There was also a small pond with koi fish which I found beautiful.

The only downside of Gynandha Cottage Ubud is that it is not along the main road. It is approximately a 5-8 minute walk from the main road to the accommodation. There are two entry and exit pathways out of the accommodation - through the walkway which is on a slight hill or through the amazing rice field at the back of the property. This was no an issue for me however if you have mobility issues, you might find this challenging. There was some construction that was happening next door however this did not disrupt my stay at all as you could barely hear it when the locals were working. The construction usually happened in the late morning and would stop in the afternoon so it was mainly when I was out and about exploring.

Great stay in one of the villas, perfectly clean and just brilliant all round. Message on WhatsApp with arrival time and they will come to the road to pick up your bags

It is a really cosy place with super friendly staff who are always willing to help. Smaller place so not crowded with and very relaxing. The food from the restaurant was amazing! Very good location. I would definitely recommend staying here. If I planned on visiting ubud again I would definitely be staying here

The location was perfect. Easy access to Ubud town and to all the walking we wanted to do.

Breakfast was ok. Ordering the night before seems unnecessary. There is no view over the rice paddies as described but still lovely gardens and outlook. Only real complaint was the towels. They are old, scratchy and stained. Absolutely need replacing.
