Well situated near the sesselbahn
The view
The lounge with a nice fireplace, games, food and drinks. Very cosy
The spa (pool a bit too cold, access to the outside jacuzzi was iced and slippery)
We could hear sounds from other rooms.
No kettle in the room

Super comfortable, warm, well laid out. Great staff. Superb breakfast.
WiFi in my room wasn’t great. Checked in lobby and it was good so seems to be a room location issue (room 101)

Spa is wonderful and tranquil. Lovely decor in rooms. Friendly staff. Easy stroll to the main funicular station.
Limited food options in the restaurant. I am tall and did hit my head in my room a couple of times.

The hotel is exceptional. Location, view, facilities, this is the 2nd time for me to be here. Highly recommended.
Price is quite high

Perfect Location - 3min walk from the cablecar station with great sunset view from the station and from the front of hotel. Great service, all useful information provided before getting there; all hosts are kind, efficient and friendly. Guests can use the spa facilities even after checkout (in the afternoon of the checkout day). Food is good with affordable prices.
All good.

Stunning hotel in beautiful location. We really enjoyed almost everything about our stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, as was the spa and wellness centre. Our room was more spacious than expected. Special shout out to the service staff who were very friendly and attentive through the whole stay.
We came here to enjoy all the wonderful hiking trails, but unfortunately I was injured hiking and needed some basic first aid supplies such as non stick dressings etc. which the hotel was unable to assist with. For a location based around outdoor activities and given the isolation of the location, it would be best for the hotel to have a better first aid kit on site.
Wifi did not work in the room at all.
It would have been good if the room TVs were set up with chromecasts or something similar as we weren't able to watch anything in English.

It’s a great property. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Visited during a heatwave in August. The room was so hot that the cool mountain air didn’t cool it down until early morning despite balcony door open wide.
What’s worse, the restaurant was boiling hot during dinner service. I understand in that area people worry more about cold winters. It’s hard to blame them…

It has a spa but the water should be a little hotter or have at least one hot pool. Location is great and you can do may outdoor activities.
Pool should be hotter or have at least one pool that is hot.

The property itself was beautiful & the staff were very friendly. Loved the amenities
It wasn't a big deal but the room we had booked had low sloped ceilings close to the bed so you couldn't stand up straight and walk to or from the bed. The bathroom was also open concept with no shower door for privacy. Again not a huge deal but when traveling with friends it's nice to have a little more privacy. Not sure if all the rooms were like this or if I accidentally booked a room that had these minor things in it. Overall loved the stay though!

Outstanding service. Well appointed facilities, great location. Loved the lounge area to relax in. Noted a super playroom for kids.
My only recommendation is to offer more vegan options at breakfast such as soya / oat milk, avocado

Kilihan who greeted us at reception couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. He is a credit to the hotel.
We booked two deluxe rooms with balconies for the view. My sister and her husband had a restricted view that wasn’t great. The hotel moved their room to a superior room with a much nicer view. The price for the deluxe and superior rooms is exactly the same. So that was helpful. The deluxe room we had had a lovely view, but given the size of the room (30m 2) it had the tiniest bathroom? The superior room had a separate bath and large walk in shower. Our room had a shower over a small bath which I thought was strange.

Great location, professional staff, balcony view.
Wifi very bad in all areas, wish to have coffee and tee amenities in the room.

Amazing spa facilities, fresh food, professional staff. I was in one of the roof unit single rooms and the views are beautiful. I came in late from a hike and the kitchen was closed. Flammakuchen was one of my only options. Expected a frozen one but to my surprise, it was freshly made with local ingredients and thick ham, red onions and garnished like I have never seen in Alsace. A real treat.
3rd floor rooms don’t have an opportunity for much fresh air. Wish the window opened more. Getting up there was not easy, but that is what makes it special.

The hotel was in the perfect location with amazing views, but that’s not difficult in stoos because everywhere has amazing views! It’s at the end of a small, quiet stretch of road but still perfectly placed, as everywhere is within easy reach on foot.
The spa facilities were by far the best I’ve ever experienced, when offered as part of your stay, at no extra cost. It’s was the perfect place to relax & unwind after a whole day walking. There is a lovely pool indoors and an outside whirlpool too, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers, on which to relax. The whole place was immaculately presented. The breakfast was a delicious buffet with so much choice, there is something for everyone and all great quality food with eggs cooked to your liking.
The reception staff were an absolute delight, we were greeted by Killian who couldn’t do enough to help us, everyone was just so kind & accommodating. We will definitely be back again. We just had the best time. Thank you ‘Wellness’ hotel, we really felt looked after. X
It would have been nice to have had coffee making facilities in the room but maybe this isn’t common practice in Switzerland.

Amazing personnel! Everyone was accommodating, from the receptionists to the personnel in the spa.
charming location and wonderful spa

Wonderful views, good service and welcoming staff. I also liked that (and this applies to Stoos in general too) while staff spoke good English and information was available in English, there wasn’t so much of it “around” that i didn’t feel like i was in a foreign country, or have the opportunity to start recalling my school German from 30 years ago! I had the best of both worlds!

Stunning place to stay in the mountains! Was our first time but not our last! Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them - keep doing what you are doing you are all amazing! Amazing Spa facilities and treatments. I was very sad to leave.
Nothing - loved it all!

The price is rather expensive

Amazing location and experience. Superb views from balcony. Staff is great and helpful, we needed a bit medical attention, all was organized.
Room was small, but sufficient.
Spa is great, not large, but we were lucky to have opportunity to sunbath outside - plenty of space - cozy and nice. towels, bathrobes good quality.
Good cocktails, not so expensive for Switzerland :)
Great stay, walking distance to few bars, we found one store, close to hiking trails and table cars.
Super quiet! Love to come back!
Food in restaurant - overpriced and not tasty. Breakfast with no prosecco.
Coffee machine in the room would make the stay perfect - enjoy morning coffee from balcony.
A bit shocked on nude spa area, kind of hidden, but still visible, if to travel with kids, might be a problem - depends on nationality :)

Great to be able to stay in the mountain town up at Stoos, it means you can relax and take it all in instead of going up and down in a day. Friendly and helpful staff, chilled vibe and pleasant outdoors area to have a drink etc as well as comfortable bar lounge area inside. Breakfast had a good range with some made to order options too.
My room was quite hot.

A special place to visit. Facilities and comfort exceeded expectations. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Clean and diverse wellness area with spa/pool. Solid breakfast too. All around a great stay - recommended.
It is expensive. You also need to spend at least 50 CHF per person for a bahn multi-day pass to get to Stoos, plus 5,- for the local bus to/from the nearest train stations, unless you already have a Swiss Travel Pass. We had interrail but next time would consider the Swiss Travel Pass for a trip primarily in Switzerland.

Very nice staff. Complimentary drink when you arrive (Prosecco or tea). The view from my window was pretty. It was down the road away from the cable car so it was nice and quiet over there, beautiful facilities that I wish I had time to use. Loved the location. Decent free breakfast and clean pretty property. Definitely relaxing atmosphere and free apples everywhere :)
The room looked very different from the picture and much smaller than I thought, but it worked for me as one person. It was extremely hot in the room and only a fan in there. WiFi was spotty. I wish I knew the pool and gym had a early closing time before booking because they were closed by the time I got there and felt like I was paying extra for something I couldn’t use (stayed one night).

The staff was excellent. Very professional, helpful and friendly. The restaurant was also the best I found in Stoos. Breakfast was great, especially the home made Guacamole, Hummus and hazelnut chocolate creme.
The hotel feels a bit dated. Even though the rooms are clean and fine, the have a certain 90s charm which is not for everyone. Ultimately, it is not a big problem and I still would recommend staying at the hotel. Jus something to know if you are looking for something like a boutique Hotel or something like a Moxy, Nyx or Motel One Style.

Staff is extremely friendly and hôtel very clean.
Beautiful location and loved it.
Assigned table for breakfast, which is surprising as you cannot be seated to any other place.
However the staff was so friendly and accommodated us to a better table next to the window.

Great hotel. Awesome wellness area:) nicely located in the mountains and it is also possible to go skiing (though it’s more for families and beginners) The food was also really good and the breakfast buffet was nice. We would definitely recommend staying there!

We stayed in a suite- very nicely designed and comfortable. Stuff was super friendly, entire hotel is just a great place to go. Restaurant was serving excellent food, also had kids-friendly menu. We loved wellness area, super relaxing. Very nice that there was a play room for kids as well :)
It would be great if the water in the swimming pool were warmer. Actually it was rather cold, nobody seemed to like using it. We went into the pool with our child but it was way to cold for him.
