Location, beautiful view, friendly helpful staff

room cost very high, breakfast 28 CHF per person. When we arrived there was no bacon, smoked salmon etc we had to ask for food. That is unacceptable for that cost

Ok but

The property is very nice, the rooms are less beautiful than the rest but ok. There is nothing in the room fridge! So you need to find a beer in your own because the bar closes soon. The location is less majestic than it seems, because it is placed on a big road facing the lake. It is quite distant from the centre too.

Great and would like to stay again.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the room felt nice and clean with an incredible view. Some of the smaller things like providing free drinks in the minibar and welcome water/champagne (I think) at the front made it feel like they weren’t trying to nickel and dime you. Also, fhe beds were incredibly comfortable. We intended to look up the brand but forgot! While although a bit outside of Lucerne, buses come frequently so it did not feel like a hassle getting around. We’d definitely stay again if we find ourselves in Lucerne.

While although the Sunset Bar across the street was great, the hotel is quite close and the music could be quite loud which wouldn’t be a big deal under normal circumstances but it isn’t great if you’re jet lagged and wanting to sleep early. Also, some of the other guests could be quite loud as well but that isn’t the fault of the hotel.

Too expensive for the quality delivered

I liked the location, good view of the lake. That's the only pro about this hotel.

The hotel was old, the floor area is renovated but the rooms are not. Doesn't have air-co. Only one elevator. Blinders doesn't cover the entire window. Room was clean to the eye to see but under the bed it was dusty. Reception crew is very good, restaurant crew is mixed, some good people, some arrogant and rude people too. Definitely doesn't hold the quality standard that the price tag makes you expect. Too expensive for what it delivers.

The property was in a good scenic location with nice dinning facilities both on and off property.

Fantastic place just near the city and by an impressive “Sunset Bar” and access into the lake. Delightful breakfast and restaurant accommodations. You will pay for convenience there. Would be nice if there were more perks for that to guest.

Bathroom was a little small. Wish there was a little more room in there but they added that space to accommodate for a larger room in general. No AC in room, know the season time you are going when visiting.

We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel.

View and location of the hotel is fantastic, the staff is very polite and helpful. The Lucern lake is across the road and we enjoyed a swim there.

We had requested for adjoining rooms at the time of the booking (about 2 weeks prior to our arrival) and this request was not fulfilled. We were allocated rooms on different floors however, the receptionist after realizing that we were a family managed to find us 2 rooms on the same floor, but not adjoining. The staff were very pleasant to deal with however, the rooms did not have air-conditioning. There was one fan in the room, they did not have additional fans, so our request for an additional fan in our room was not fulfilled. We spent an uncomfortable night due to the high temperature and we were not able to get a good night's rest.

Beautiful View / Rough Towels

The balcony view of the lake was beautiful!

The towels were like extremely thin and were quite rough. The menu in the restaurant for dinner didn’t have much to choose from. It was all centered around asparagus.

Lovely location, we had a view of the beautiful lake. Short bus ride to the town, the staff were very helpful and the room was clean and functional

The only negative was the road outside is quite noisy if you have the windows open. However there was a fan so you could close the window which reduced the traffic noise considerably

Hotel Seeburg was very nice in a beautiful setting, we would stay here again!

Hotel Seeburg is about a 10 minute bus ride from the main downtown tourist area. The bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel and a local public transportation pass is included with the room. The room was modern and had a Nespresso machine and pods for coffee lovers. The bathroom was very nice with a tub / shower combo and outlets for curling iron or hair dryer. The lake is directly across the road with a large park like area that is actually a restaurant. We had a dinner of pizza and drinks after scanning the QR code on the table and placing our order on the phone. There is a large park area within walking distance, but it's far enough out of down town that you will have to take the bus.

The hotel staff at the reception could have been a bit more communicative. This was the first time I experienced a hotel receptionist not telling me during checking-in which way to take to go to our room.

- perfect location with the overview of the lake, - the hotel provided us with free tickets for public transport, the bus stop is just next to the hotel - a very nice restaurant with an excellent service - staff was friendly and helpful with planning our program

We were disappointed with the breakfast offered at the hotel. Considering it is a 4-star establishment, we found it to be rather mediocre. Furthermore, our room lacked air conditioning, resulting in uncomfortably hot temperatures, despite the presence of a subpar fan. The room itself appeared outdated, and the beds were not comfortable. In light of the discomfort we experienced, we felt that the price we paid was too high.

The rooms was a three star hotel rooms, the breakfast was fantastic

The property is old . Our visit was in the summer, we needed to open the windows so we can can hear the sound of the cars passing by the road at night which was was noisy.

It is very close to the main road and you can hear the cars passing by . The bed was comfortable. The bathroom has no keys

nice hotel a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the town, but convenient transportation to get there. clean room. sp

the location. although it’s about a 10 minute drive to the main area of the city, it was a nice hotel in front of the lake. very peaceful and serene. if you don’t have a car, there’s a bus that run every 15 minutes to go to town, and the hotel gives you passes for free transportation! if you have a car, there is parking on site.

i loved every thing about this hotel! except for the price, but this is Switzerland I guess!

Definitely enjoyed the lake view and the room was comfortable.

It was extremely loud. One can hear the street through closed windows and at around 6-7 a.m. when people started leaving their rooms, we could hear everything that was going on in the hall which woke us up on several occasions.
