Small bottle of wine as a welcome Slightly disappointed we didn’t get one of the quirkier decor rooms… yellow and character tiles in bathroom. I’ve stayed here a few times. 😊.

Fantastic end to a perfect trip

So pleased I found Hotel Rebstock, it ended a most fantastic trip to Switzerland. My room was historic, exactly what you would picture typically Swiss, it was beautiful, best accommodation I have had in my short trip, just sorry to be leaving. I will most certainly be back. Location perfect, short walk from train station and a very short walk to the promenade, boat trips etc, you really couldn't ask for more. Whilst I didn't eat at the hotel due to early starts and late finishes, I heard compliments from other diners. All staff I met were very friendly and helpful. Whilst there isn't an elevator the staff were more than willing to assist with any heavy luggage. I loved my stay at Hotel Rebstock in this beautiful city.

Location was excellent. We loved the old historic charm and decor of the hotel, we found out that it was built in 1439.

We had third floor room and no elevator bit they did help us with carrying our suitcases.

Perfect for our city stop in Lucerne

Stayed 3 nights. Great location approx 10 minute level walk from the train station. Friendly team everyone very helpful and nice to make your stay happy and comfortable. Delicious breakfast - don’t rush it if you have the time! Air con unit in room. Swimming at Seeban is super close and hotel offered swim bags for the Lake, towel, water and mat which was excellent!

Cute place, great location but not a lot of amenities

The staff was lovely and location perfect.

There was no refrigerator in the room. No one explained how to use the in-room AC so we literally slept in a sauna our first night.

Superbly located and comfortable accommodation.

A fabulous location with an amazing view from the balcony. We loved the unusual tiling and art work. We loved that we could walk to all the amenities and tourist attractions. The hotel also provided a swimming/beach kit which included a bag, towels and beach mats. This was a lovely touch and really handy as we swam in the lake nearby. We were upgraded to the balcony room which we also loved.

We couldn’t stand up in the shower. It is possible to have a bath alright.

The staff were wonderful. The desk folks were friendly and helpful. One gave us a free pass for a boat lake tour, and another person helped us with a Pulatus Kuhm trip. The breakfast people were very attentive.

Our first time in Luzern.

When you arrive by car you need to get an access code for the car park which is just down the street. Parking to pick up the pass is on a pedestrianised area,so not easy. Our room had a view over the lake,which was very nice, The hotel is very old, so if your expecting a swish modern hotel, you are going to disappointed. Its a lovely building but it does creak quite a bit. There are elevators but we did not use them.

The occupants in the room above ours liked to walk around alot at night, The floors are creaky and the noise kept us awake for a few hours. Reception only opens at 8.00am, If you need to check out out early it could be a problem.

It’s a historic building so the floors are slanted and as a result we didn’t sleep well in the bed. Nobody’s fault but it was uncomfortable. Would still recommend the hotel, however.

Welcoming and comfortable stay.

Absolutely delightful experience. Staff was incredible friendly, polite and welcoming. The location was perfect, across street from lake luzern, walking distance to local attractions, 2 mins walk to bus stops and 10 mins walk to Luzern main train, bus station and ferry terminal. Our room was clean, small but manageable for 2 people with 2 luggages. Love the high water pressure shower and comfortable bed. Room was nice, clean and quiet considering located next to Hofkirche St. Leodegar church and their own restaurant on the ground floor.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful city.

From the moment we walked into Hotel Rebstock, we felt welcomed by the staff. Our room was lovely, with a view of both a beautiful church and Pilatus from the balcony. We loved the location; it was a short walk or bus ride to the train station, but the area wasn't as crowded as the more touristy locations. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we ate there both nights!

fantastic location! 11 mins walk fr train station, else take a short bus ride - most of the attraction - bridges, churches, etc are within walking distance! staff was so cheerful and helpful to offer assistance without being asked. They indeed provided a quiet room. The design was classic with very interesting design! Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and the food was amazing! Would stay there again!

Splendid hotel with great food and staff

Absolutely perfect location at the edge of Old Town and near the water. Fantastic breakfast each morning with fresh bread/ butter/ jam, eggs made to order, fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts, baked goods, yogurt/ muesli, juice, milk, coffee/ tea- really wonderful. Comfortable accommodations of larger than expected size with artsy bathroom decor. There is a small elevator and staff to help with moving bags upstairs. Friendly staff.
