Stressful check in

-Room was cold. I d say about 17° -We chose this hotel because of self-check in. In fact it was a big stress. Hotel supposed to send a "key" on the app. When we arrived 5.30pm (check in opens 4pm) key wasn't available. Our network outside EU didn't work and we couldn't call the number on the door. We had internet but WhatsApp number doesn't accept the calls. We just stuck outside untill some of hotel residents was coming and kindly rang from his phone, then we got inside and then were instructions how to activate room card. It's all over the phone. So if you don't speak English/German, if you have no local network and think it's the easy option when you just get the code to enter-it's not. Why there is a key option on app if it doesn't work? Why directions button on app doesn't work either?

Miserable room and miserable management

Room was clean

Strong humid smell when entering the room. Left the car unattended for some time to get coins to pay the parking, on my return I got a fine. I'm always amazed by the warm welcoming of Swiss ppl. Thank you so much for your understanding.

We only stayed one night the owners were very communicative and helpful. It was a comfortable place we loved it. They have car parking underground but you required to pay for it. We didn’t mind.

Not quite as central a location as being right downtown, noise from the busy street was fine if we had the windows closed, but too noisy to have the windows open.

Nearer to Emmenbrucke Banhof, be careful while searching using SBB app.

Cooking facilities The coffee machine with complimentary tea and coffee Clean and comfy There are supermarkets along the way coming from Emmenbrucke banhof.

Check in method abit confusing, need to solve puzzle. On the other hand, although SBB app mentioned u need to stop at Frohburg, but is reccomended to stop at Emmenbrucke banhof as Frohburg is a uphill walk, whereas the other one is a flat walk.

Decent Lucern stay

The room size is big with a fully equipped kitchenette. There's a coffee machine with pods. App self-check-in is handy and hassle free. The Anstatthotel provides Lucern visitor card by request.

No reception, no lift, my window is next to bin area which is awful when need to open window. The shower unit is simple and easily causes spillage of water to the shower room floor, which is slip hazard. The Anstatthotel location is off the town centre.

nice apartment with all you need

bus stop is just a few minutes walk away. The wifi is quite fast. Parking is 7CHF per day and is affordable and can be paid cashless using app.

the anxiety that the smoke alarm will go off while i’m cooking. It states there that the smoke alarm is sensitive to steam as well. It is quite hot in the summer. There is no dark curtain, only sheer curtain.

The property was very economically friendly and very clean as per our expectations.

The room is very small and there is a kitchen in the room itself which was a bit troublesome. If you cook and the smoke of the cooking reaches the fire alarm, it will give a false alarm ring which will continue till eternity until the police or the fire brigade arrives. We had a harsh experience with that fire alarm since we were cooking and the false alarm was ringing till eternity until the police arrived. My grandparents are senior citizens and had to face real troubles during that time. Also we were threatened to pay 1000 chf in case of a fire alarm even if its a false alarm due to cooking and not smoking which was really troublesome although we didnt had to pay. The idea of kitchen in the room is highly distasteful as i have seen other apartments too which have a separate place for kitchen. Also i had booked for a 3 single bed apartment but received 2 single bed and one bunk bed which was really annoying as we had senior citizens who could not climb up the bunk bed. My request for change of apartment was also denied categorically

Decent Stay

The rooms were big. Facilities were nice enough.

The beds (sheets) were probably not that clean. Me and my son both were itching whenever we used it. The curtains were thin so maybe everything inside was visible (maybe it's common in Switzerland. Had a similar thing in another hotel). A bit of privacy issue.

Its was an ok ok stay

The rooms were nice and clean

The location was little far from station and only one bus is available thought it did not cost us any problem but if you want to catch early morning train then you have no option than booking a cab and the don’t support any of this cab service so you have to book your own. Also they did not provided with basic toiletries only handwash was there and since we have to call for those little things it was little frustrating.

Free Wi-Fi: Good internet connection. Fully equipped kitchen: Had all necessary cooking tools. Towels provided: Clean and available. Flat TV: Working television in the room. Balcony with backstreet view

Hidden fees: The app asked me to pay a city tax, but Booking.com did not mention this. I already paid everything, including the taxes advance. Bad smell: The room had a nasty odor. Uncomfortable beds: The beds were hard and made loud noises while sleeping. Flat pillows: The pillows were too thin and gave no support, which was very uncomfortable. There is a pipe crossing the corner of the room. Shower problem: Water leaked outside the shower even with the curtain closed. Paid parking: The hotel parking was not free.

Our stay at Anastthotel - Lucernem

Great location just a few km from Lycerne city. Smooth check in process and easy access to the property. I haven't had any issues with the app. Helpful staffs.

The lighting in the room was dim as a huge wardrobe was blocking it to the kitchen. The chimney above the induction could have been a little higher. It was a little difficult to cook. The shower area in the toilet is comparatively small and since there is no door so you need to be cautious about the showers. No free parking at the property but there are slots available just outside the property where you can park for 24hrs costing 8 CHF.

On the whole, after the mess up with accessing the doors, my stay was quite pleasant.

The staff working in the building were super friendly. When I couldn't access my room because the code didn't work, they were so concerned and I could see their desperation in wanting to help me, but their hands were chopped off.

It was a very frustrating that I couldn't access the entry door or my room's door because code didn't work. After a long flight and being totally stressed that my luggage never arrived with me, I was very disappointed that I couldn't access the door. Eventually, I was given another room after running up and down the stairs trying to unlock my rooms door after I eventually got in at the front door.

Checkout nightmare

The automatic check in was good, room was clean and spacious.

The staff kept banging and shouting at the door from 9:50 am onwards. We checked out at 10:20 however that 30 minutes was a nightmare. We told her that we are checking out in 10 minutes however she kept shouting that she needs the room now. This is not the kind of hospitality we were expecting at all. The experience would have been good if this incident would not have happened.

The Room was very good and met our expectations.

Improvements are needed for the Pillows they are very uncomfortable. The Shower in the Bathroom is too old and the Water is spilling out, absolutely not maintained properly.
