    Stayed 2 nights in June, staff were very polite and check in was easy. Room was very clean and a good size but a little cramped for 3 people with the sofa bed out. Only issue with this hotel is the lack of air conditioning which I was aware of before we booked but with the windows open and the fan on it wasn’t too bad. It is on a busy road but the traffic noise didn’t bother us too much. Location is great, not far from the lake and a few minutes walk into the city centre. Overall a nice stay in a hotel which is reasonably priced compared to many others in Lucerne.

    Choose this hotel if you wish to use the free bus services within Lucerne, which means no walking required within the town. Choose this hotel if you want to walk only 100 metres to the lakeside. Choose this hotel as it is 200 metres from the railway station if you walk or 2 bus stops away. Choose this hotel if you want to drop into the innumerable eateries in old Town within 8-10 minutes' walk. Don't expect the frills that will keep you indoors. It's like a functional place to sleep and then be outdoors after breakfast on their lovely restaurant. The breakfast spread is simple by Asian standards but delightfully European. Staff is friendly without being intrusive.

    Worst hotel . The wc was not cleaned. There were no AC. I could not sleep. The room was absolutely hot. I left early at 6:45 as the room was unbearable.

    I booked this hotel as it was rated 4 star but actually it should not have been. Check in was of good standard thanks to the experience of *** , thank you. To me I believe establishment was going through a refurbishment project, our room on the 3rd floor was clean and fresh. Like other reviews, air con and fridge a must for a 4 star room, window open throughout night high street noise, poor sleep. Decided to pay for breakfast, wish I hadn't, at 9am very little there. Told staff about my issue, her response was "I'll tell kitchen, nothing happened as they continued to tidy up !! All 4 star hotels I've stayed in have Bar or relaxation area after returning from tiring day of excursions, here nothing, straight to room !! All this for *** not at all value for money.🥱 Will say great location ❤️
