Truly Exceptional in every way!

The reception upon arrival was exceptional, the rooms were amazing with lots of extra touches, the quality of fixtures &fittings is of the highest standards. The sauna was unbelievable with magnificent views from the 5th floor overlooking the lake - one of the best 5star hotels I have been to and I have visited many throughout Europe and Asia in the past few years

Perfect in very way

Literally everything was exemplary from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The location was perfect with the most stunning views of lake Luzern, everything close by and easy reach by public transport. The staff were so hospitable, supremely professional with the perfect amount of warmth. Food was delicious and dining experience so wonderfully pleasant. The room was spotlessly clean, very well equipment, spacious and very comfortable. The little extras were extremely appreciated and made a lovely short holiday all the more special. I cannot find any fault with this hotel. I cannot wait to return.

Perfect stay for a birthday or celebration.

We come to the Schweizerhof quite often, particularly in winter. We love the atmosphere and the perfection in every aspect. It is the best hotel we have ever found in all our years of travelling. The rooms are well insulated and the spectacular view of the lake is truly ideal to recover from everyday stress.

Unfortunately, over the years, the summer prices are so high, that we go somewhere else. They don't seem to want/need Booking.com for long term bookings in the summer, so that they don't relinquish their lake-view rooms too early.

This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Switzerland.

Service was excellent, Sebastian was a fabulous host and extremely helpful. The location was great, walking distance to Old Town and the main train station. The room was amazing, we loved our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good.

The room was very warm but given the cold outside that was understandable.

Sheets on the floor at turn-down so your feet don't get dirty getting into bed! A 5 star experience!

This was the best 5 star hotel we've stayed in for some time. Treats at arrival, turn-down with more treats each night, a sheet on the floor to get into bed when you take off the hotel's slippers, great cleaning services, great breakfast, great staff. We stayed in a half-dozen places during our trip to Switzerland, and this was the best!

Best Hotel in Luzern

This was my third time staying at this lovely hotel. Prime location, friendly staff, and very good breakfast. Best hotel in Luzern in my opinion. I would like to thank Mar Margaret at the front desk and Mamu Dahy at the villa restaurant for making our experience exceptional! I have celebrated my birthday at the hotel with my family last year and this year too, and I can't wait for my future stay at this great hotel.

perfect luxurious hotel with a perfect location

Don’t spend your money here to be humiliated.

Housekeeping was the only part that met five-star standards. Everything else fell far short. For three days, the most genuine feeling we had was not luxury, but being disrespected.

Our stay at this so-called five-star hotel was extremely disappointing. The staff’s attitude toward Asian guests was noticeably indifferent and contemptuous, showing dismissive expressions, and even purposely speaking to each other in a language we could not understand right in front of us. Having lived in the U.S. for years, I have no problem communicating in English, so this was not a language issue but clear discriminatory behavior.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with top notch customer service! This was a splurge for us but it was worth it. Every detail was thought of; room was gorgeous and clean and bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was very good! Every employee went above abd beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable and special.

Price is high but if you want luxury and comfort, this is great.

Great location and Sebastien on concierge was super helpful and friendly

Staff need additional training. Charged €14.50 for a glass of milk for our baby. Challenged it and the charge was removed and and apology offered. Same thing happened the next evening and the in room dining staff was very rude and refused to hand over the milk without signing the bill. Complained to the Duty Manager and wanted to escalate further to the hotel general manager who could not be found despite us being told we would be contacted by him. He eventually called us after checking out to apologise. A very expensive hotel that do not match their prices with their poorly trained staff and etiquette to their guests.
