Hotel was dated looking but clean, comfortable, and functional. The location was close to old town and only a 10 minute walk from the main station. The staff were very nice.

The room was good, there were nice lighting options including a small night-light lamp that had charging portals! We like charging portals when traveling! The room had a long desk where one could eat or write. I was thrilled to find a bathtub! These are a rarity in Europe and so much needed after 2 1/2 weeks of train travel and lugging our bags across Italy and Switzerland! Our aching muscles were delighted. The female front desk staffer was very friendly and helpful. There is 24 hour free coffee/ tea in the lobby.

Very clean, great location, helpful staff who brought our bags to our room (we arrived before check-in and they stored them while we wandered through town). Coffee and tea available 24 hours, very creaky floors if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs if your spouse uses the restroom at night.

Our room is overlooking Lake Lucerne . Coffee and water always available in the reception desk. Everything is walkable on the hotel . Staff is friendly. We will stay again .

Daniel at the front reception desk was exceptional! He was friendly and patient with other guests in front of us that struggled with their language. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and was very helpful in accommodating any of our needs!

Hotel de la Paix was in a great location. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending places to go and how to get there. I had a single room with a twin bed and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. It was quiet as it was on the courtyard side. The room was quite small so I had to put my luggage on the luggage rack behind the door. So I couldn't fully open the door to the room or the bathroom. Other than that slight inconvenience, everything was great!
