Disappointed at the quality of the two rooms that we booked.

Good location, close to the centre of Luzern.

Very worn out and run down rooms. Some (not all) of the reception staff were unhelpful.

recommended Parking garage was difficult to find even with directions. Breakfast was in a different building and we had to go across a rooftop walkway to get to it. Nothing hot to eat...not a good value for the price.

Dated, in need of TLC, would not return

Great location, city centre and close to all shops and restaurants. Breakfast was ok for continental and what I expected, quite a lot of choice. Great shower. Was on a main street and could not hear traffic from outside

The hotel was really dated and in need of renovation, got The Shining vibes, although the lovely Natalia/Nathalie (unsure of spelling) on reception was fabulous and very helpful and said next year they will be renovating and putting air con in too (although not needed at for our visit) The room didn't look like the pictures, bathroom was functioning but clinical and hairs all over tiles. The bathroom bin had not been emptied and was disgusting with previous guest, looked liked lots of tissue and used sanitary products and I had to empty in bedroom bin and take to reception. Floors really creaky, which I appreciate as a very old hotel and room above was up at 6am walking around their room which then make me conscious of our creaking floor and disturbing the guests below us. At 7.20am workmen renovating building that you could see from breakfast room so unsure if part of hotel or next door started up really loud, banging, shouting, drilling - although this is not the hotel's fault necessarily still affected our stay.

Very good option!

The hotel is centrally located, really close to everything you need to see. The staff was extremely friendly. Good breakfast ! I liked that there was a hot water machine downstairs for tea and coffee.

Excelente Ubicación

The hotel's location is very good. Buses to the train station stop 30 meters away. It takes 5 minutes by bus and 11 minutes on foot. The hotel is adjacent to the streets that lead to shops and pedestrian routes. It's less than 10 minutes from the famous Chapel Bridge. The lady who checked us in was very attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Note: Don't waste your time going to Château Gütsch. You can't go inside, and you can't see anything interesting.

Perfect short stay So close to main station and the staff is VERY helpfull to ensure our stay was perfect in all the ways possible. I could not ask for more and will recomend staying here for all ages

The hotel itself is starting to feel very dated and might need a bit of a refresh. The breakfast was just ok compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Switzerland where they had more options and better service.

Excellent location for short stay.

Single room was small but adequate. Had everything I needed for short stay. No fridge in room but there was one downstairs for client use. (Which I only found out on 2nd day).

No English speaking channels on the tv. An extra pillow would have been nice. There was no top sheet on bed only a doona in cover (it's an European thing)

Perfect downtown location. Easy access by rail or car. An old hotel but modernized and very clean. Very helpful front desk staff. Great breakfast buffet.

No air conditioning, but it was 31 degrees outside. Probably not an issue on normal weather days.

Location really good, about 10 - 15 minutes walk from hotel, or a short Trolleybus ride.

Great stay in Luzern.

Location was amazing and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. They even put fan on the room to cool it off while I was touring the area.

It’s noisy at certain time but it’s on main road so it’s not a fault of the hotel. If you have ear plugs you can sleep well.

Central City Charm

Central location makes all the tourist attractions close. Breakfast includes mimosas!! That's a pretty high bar for breakfast, in my opinion. Room had a balcony and I could see the water from there.

I would have liked a firmer pillow for my sleeping style but that's not always controllable.

Good lighting. Very user-friendly shower, which is rare. Soundproof windows -very noisy street below. Rather hot, though, with window closed.

Hard bed with one flimsy pillow. Cleaner evidently in a great rush, left things half done. Very expensive for what you get.

A lot of improvement needed for this hotel.

The location is convenient… bus stop in front and 8 min walk to the train station. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

No coffee nor kettle in the room. No fridge with very limited bathroom amenities. Outdated basic TV and small room. Staff gave minimal attention to your needs.

The hotel was a short, scenic walk from the train station, but one could also take the bus which stops near the hotel. Room was adequate size for three people. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Within walking distance of Old Town and many of the historic sites.
