Very nice andcomfirtable , but some things can e for a 5 star hotel like ensuring everything is functioning properly

Loved the location, amazing lake & mountain view and the pool.

Best location in Luzern close to everything. We had a see view room and slept window opened, it was incredibly calm, we had an excellent sleep. The Spa is brand new and modern. It has a beautiful big and modern indoor pool with access to a terrace and one sauna room.

The hotel has a lot of history and the historic building seems to limited certain interior design choices (furniture, lighting, hallways etc). This might look not always as modern as you would expect a five star hotel.

Simply stunning, classy close to everywhere , train station, the bridge, and all shopping centers.

The room was simply stunning amazing, posh, regal. On my second nite, I ddnt leave my room, cos it was sooo cozy, I felt like royalty. The entire decor and vibe was simply classy. The staff, guest were all looking great. My sisters saw my pictures of my room and said it was unreal. It looked like a painting, from a castle. D bar and tea select was great. Breakfast was super amazing. Would definitely come back.. value for money. The entire hotel was stunning.

An absolute pleasure

An exceptional hotel. Excellent service from start to finish. Full of character. We had a lovely surprise as we were upgraded as we were celebrating our engagement. The room was absolutely fabulous, it was all we could have wished for and more.

Wonderful friendly stay!

The staff were all so friendly and helpful and were so lovely to our 4 year old son spoiling him with chocolate every time we came back which made him very happy! The breakfast staff were particularly lovely and breakfast delicious. Upgrade on our rooms was very much appreciated and the top floor room had a wonderful terrace and view. Spa was great and so was the massage. Location great overlooking the water and a short walk into the main part of town, and staff very helpful on local activities and restaurants. Overall a wonderful stay!

Luxurious experience at a cost.

All the staff were very friendly and were eager to please. Really liked the furnishings and layout of the room, view over the lake was good to have. Enjoyed the time in the bar.

Staffing at breakfast could have been better organised as sometimes there only appeared to be one member of staff taking and bringing out food + drink from the kitchen. Some surfaces, night stand & table, were not properly cleaned in the morning - nothing to really complain about though.

Nice upscale hotel. The view from the 6th floor rooms overlooking the lake is beautiful.

Newly renovated room with great view over the lake and a narrow, walk out balcony. We were provided with complimentary snacks (fruit), and drinks in the minibar. The staff were extremely polite and helpful.

The room was small with no place to sit other than a desk chair. The small balcony is unfurnished. The atmosphere was a little formal and stuffy for our taste. The pool is indoors, which I am sure is nice during the winter but it was 30C, 90F during our visit and a cool, refreshing place to sit outdoors would have been nice.

Bad service from staff

Pool facilities

Staff some courteous but rude when don't follow through commitments. Ie said they would bring up bags. 30 mins layer no bags so collected them myself. Girl who offered originally just ignored me and chatted to another staff member, instead of apologising she forgot. Awning at pool retracted every 15mins automatically needs repair. No food after 930pm despite still taking orders from other people seated.

Guys..5star hotel and breakfast without anything warm unless you pay for that? That's ridiculous... looks like old money hotel in perfect location but world changed as level of services and facilities.

The view from the balcony was incredible. Very central. Easy walk from train station. And the Lindt chocolates at the end of every evening was a nice touch.

The staff could have been more inviting. Many of the front desk staff never looked up to say hello or good morning or good evening.

Wonderful, relaxing yet compromised

Location, room, housekeeping, food.

The air conditioning system is behind the curtain and if you close the curtain you block the air. If you keep it open the morning light floods the room. Easy cheap fix is to have a vertical blind behind the AC and all is resolved. This is a really dumb piece of design. The fact that a hotel of this stature does not have a gym is inexcusable. You need to pay chf 32 per person per day to use a gym across the street. Until you get one going and given what you charge for the rooms you should make the outside gym complementary. I mean how many guests use a gym anyway? 10-30%? Average 15%? So cost per guest per month on average is nothing, but it’s a basic offer. Stop appearing to act as a money grabbing stingy property. The restaurant, bar and front office service should improve with a proper Conceirge service with connect in all the top restaurants. This too is an easy fix. The Mandarin next door once in full flow will mount a serious challenge to you if you don’t fix these small issues.
