Lovely hotel, great location, very friendly staff

Very good location, room was lovely and great area to get tea and coffee with an honesty bar. Will be lovely to sit on the terrace in the summer.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, all the skirting boards were dirty. A continental breakfast was included in the price but had to pay extra for cooked breakfast which seems a bit much when you’re paying quite a lot for a nights stay. Also we used the NCP car park opposite but were not told that the hotel had a discount code to use until it was too late and were advised to try to get a refund ourselves via NCP.

Cymru welcome with España flair 😍

Love this hotel , very personal and beautifully decorated , comfy rooms , I would add a few little things like a better light in bathroom with magnifying mirror , more hanging spaces for clothes and fluffier bath robes but all very minor , I just think they would make it the very best place to stay in Cardiff ❤️

Fab individual hotel. Central location but would avoid a weekend there as noise from sports bar

Bedroom was lovely, liked the Spanish theme. Nice to have a communal sitting area for overnight guests with free tea and coffee. Breakfast good. Staff helpful and friendly . Great central location

With location being central over night noise was high. We were warned of this on booking though.. would request a room at hack of property next time.

One night at Parador 44

Staff were great, the whole place smelled gorgeous, spotlessly clean, stylish, great continental breakfast, really enjoyed the honesty lounge in the evening - a lovely space very thoughtfully put together, and the terrace would have been fantastic at a warmer time of year, really nice toiletries, good shower and bathroom facilities in general, quality bed linen and bed was huge.

Didn't realise hot breakfast options were extra, lack of storage/hanging space in room would be a problem for a longer stay, bit odd having to go to the lounge for coffee in the morning (though we never saw anyone else in there) bed was really hard (and I like a firm bed!) and pillows were not very comfortable. One insubstantial, the other hard as a rock. Parking at NCP over the road was expensive at £32 to stay overnight, no discount.

Great hotel, friendly welcome, gorgeous rooms and fantastic lounge with honesty bar. Breakfast choices were excellent. In the city centre within easy walking distance of the stadiums, shops and restaurants.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable and well worth a visit.

Lovely property. Stayed here twice now in different rooms. Very well presented, clean and comfortable.

Not that it was an issue for us as we chose because of location, but it can remain a bit noisy outside with pub revellers as well as workmen collecting bottles early morning.

Fantastic, beautiful, delicious and super friendly!

Great hotel with a great restaurant as reception. Beautiful rooms, fabulous lounge and the restaurant is delicious.

One tiny thing was the scent in the entrance staircase. Could not put my finger on it but it was odd. Gone though as soon as on got out of the first part of the staircase.

Quirky boutique hotel. Very stylish. Immaculately clean. Heaterleft on for a lovely warm welcome. Beautiful buffet breakfast included in price or order from menu for additional cost. Will definotely stay again.

Great boutique hotel in central location

Great location, small boutique hotel, honesty lounge was lovely with good range of drinks available, our room was nice, huge shower! Their signature scent smells amazing!

No parking, room was hot and is noisy but we had ear plugs! Toast at breakfast took a long time to come!

Comfortable stay in the centre

The hotel was very central . Convenient for Utilita Arena, The Royal Welsh College of Music , Cardiff Market, the wonderful arcades, restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and helpful particularly when I told them I really disliked sourdough bread ( it was the only choice at breakfast.) They arranged to have different bread for me for the next day. The bed was really comfortable and everything was very clean . The lounge area was lovely with free tea and coffee and an honesty system for everything else. Apart from sourdough the breakfast was delicious. Lovely granola ,fruit compote and wonderful tarta di Santiago.

Excellent breakfast, perfect location in the city centre. Very clean, large and new rooms - more homely than hotel. Lots of lovely attention to details everywhere. Felt high end.

Lovely City Break in the Centre of Cardiff

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable and large. The bathroom was good but steamy - I'd recommend opening a window! They have a lovely signature scent for their toiletries and in the hotel itself! Excellent honesty bar and well stocked! Located in the city centre with convenient and reasonably priced parking just across the street.

Please beware you cannot fully close the bathroom door!

Beautifully designed (both form and function), by far the best place I’ve stayed at in Cardiff.

Everything: tastefully decorated, everything you need at hand and more, comfortable mattress and pillows, lovely shared sitting room and terrace for relaxing, friendly staff, and a gorgeous breakfast… Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Lovely treat to ourselves

For us, we needed something close to Cardiff Castle for the end of The Dragons Back Race so this was prefect. Right in heart of Cardiff. The staff were really helpful in getting us an NCP car park discount ahead of our arrival too. The breakfast was amazing. Also really liked the communal rest lounge with Tea and coffee etc. nice touch and quite different to what we are used to but worked really well

Highly recommend

The staff were exceptional. After a long 20 hour day traveling it was so restorative to land in such luxury. Breakfasts were great, got the granola recipe. Fantastic Spanish gin, Spanish olives in the honesty bar were perfect

Would stay again.

Staff were great, able to check in early at no cost. Breakfast is simple but nice. The lounge was great. Managed to accommodate us in the restaurant at late notice with no booking.

Aircon/heating system isn’t the easiest to work, but you get there with trial and error. Need hooks in the bathroom

It was fine for us but the layout is a little unusual, lots of stairs and corners to navigate. Might not be suitable for people who have difficulty negotiating such areas. Could somehow get tea and coffee facilities in the room? At present in the lounge/ kitchen area.

Best kept secret in Cardiff !!

From the moment we walked into this hotel we knew we had found a little gem. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Spanish modern vibe. Rooms so cosy and comfortable. Gorgeous toiletries, wish I could have purchased them. Robes and slippers. Every little touch had been carefully considered. There was also a beautiful lounge for guests on the first floor where you can help yourself to tea and coffee free of charge. Alcohol beverages were on an " honestly" policy. So guests write what they have drunk in a little book which is charged to their room. This relaxing lounge lead out to a cute outdoor courtyard with cosy chairs and sun umbrellas. I have stayed in five star hotels across Europe that could learn a thing or two about customer service and attention to detail from this establishment. And as for the restaurant. ....absolutely sublime. The varied menu, the fresh ingredients and imaginative menu made for a foodies delight. The fresh cocktails are on another level. Off the menu or made to your own request. The open chargrill fire , the open chefs kitchen. It was just a delight. The staff were just so lovely from the moment we arrived, and the only sad part was that we couldnt stay longer. If you are planning a stay,don't book for one night . You will be devastated,as it's a hotel you just don't want to leave. We will definitely be returning to stay longer this time.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff

Parador 44 was spotlessly clean. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you. We arrived early and as our room wasn’t ready we were shown to the courtyard lounge where tea/ coffee was freely available. We didn’t have to wait long before we were shown to a beautiful room. The bathroom was immaculate and provided with lovely toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers and soft fluffy towels, a huge walk in shower. Breakfast had a good choice
