This was a top room with inclined wooden structures and taped walls. Difficult to watch them every step while moving.

Avoid. Cold, damp, dark room, ineffective heating, and not clean (triggered allergies). This stay was unacceptable. The room was as cold as outside even after I stayed in it for over 30 minutes. It wasn’t just “a bit chilly” — it was damp, clammy, and unpleasantly cold, and the room also felt dark and gloomy. The host/staff said the room would warm up, but their “heating” clearly does not work properly. It never gets anywhere near 22°C. The radiator was useless — when I touched it, it felt like barely warm water circulating, providing no real heat at all. On top of that, the room did not feel clean, and the damp conditions seemed to trigger my allergies while I was there. I left feeling uncomfortable and worried about the hygiene and air quality

I love the outlook of the whole place. It's nice, clean and tidy. The code system and self check in/check out system was really helpful. Housekeeping in the morning were friendly. The communal lounge downstairs was really nice and specious. The fridge had clean water and milk, and there was tea/coffee/sugar available throughout the day. The microwave was helpful to have so we could warm up our food and there were dishes and clean cutlery to use as well. The location is not too far from the Sophia Gardens coach station. If you like walking, it's a nice to just walk otherwise there are buses. Shops are nearby as well. Loved the coffee on the coffee machine in morning and the was nice to have a variety of spreads and yoghurts available at breakfast. The bathroom was nice and clean. The walk in shower was very nice. Although the shower wasn't working properly, when reported, someone came and fixed it promptly and they also changed bedding when it needed to be changed due to some spillage.

Lack of escalator, although I understand it's a small B&B. But then we should have been given ground floor or informed about this early on, as we had a baby and also elderly and the stairs were steep, it was difficult to go up and down being on the second floor. The lack of sink in the lounge area was inconvenient as there were no space to wash hand or dispose liquid waste. There is no member of staff available at the facility except in the morning, although the owner were available to to reach via whatsapp. This is a personal observation: everything in the light breakfast provided was sweet food. I don't cope well with sweet food too much in the morning so would have been nice to have something like cheese, boiled egg or even just beans. Just soft cheese as spread would a make difference too. We had a triple room. The bigger bed was king size which was nice, but the single bed had a size small single mattress on a single bed frame it so it was a little uncomfortable to sleep on. We had a room in the attic which means the roof was slanted, that wasn't too big of a problem, however, there are big wooded bars hanging quite low from the roof, it's a hazard risk as we bumped on to them a few times. The sink in the bathroom was quite small. Apologies if it sounds like a long list of issues but I'm just detailing the observation we all had, not only to help customers but also to give feedback to the owners for improvement.

Great location, comfortable property, breakfast items were all fresh.

No free parking, all on street altho we selected properties with free parking. Breakfast was a basic continental, not sure how it would be managed to see if those who hadn't paid for it had used it as not staffed. Small stock of pasties, hardly enough for all to have one each. I understand not wanting to put a lot out due to food wastage, we had seen pictures of guests having allocated bags of items for breakfast and thought this was what we would receive.

The cleanliness and the quiet for somewhere close to the city centre. The fob system of entry worked well once we had figured it out

The automatic light sensors in the hall and stairs areas do not allow enough time if you need to undo the key safes. I couldn't work out how the tv worked so perhaps some instructions in the room.

It had a comfortable bed and breakfast was nice.
