Arrived from Devon early got into our rooms early which was much appreciated rooms were great if I was being picky the showers are not the best but rooms nice size comfortable beds and a great sleep was had, Breakfast was also great loads of choice from yogurt and fresh fruit to traditional cooked breakfast overall great value for money would recommend also staying here again in November

The reception staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in early. We could also leave our luggage after checkout. The hotel is close to the train station and city center.

Having stayed in a few Clayton Hotels , this is my view of the hotel in Cardiff. Location is great , right in the city centre and close to all the shops, restaurants and bars. In terms of the hotel I was a little disappointed with this hotels quality and appearance as not as smart and luxurious as the others in the brand .

There were a few pros & cons to this hotel! We had 2 rooms for 3 nights ! On arrival we arrived to one of the rooms had to ask to be moved, the windows were not clean ( as in finger prints) the dust on the floor, table was honestly like it hadn’t been dusted for weeks ! Once in new room the dust was better but still not great! Just to point out we had a deluxe double and the beds are not very big at all, so if you want to space out I would book a twin! The tv was an issue, free view did work but the apps did not not in 1 room! Air did not do anything either! The staff were nice and it’s a good location, 5-10 to shopping centre and great restaurants! Would u stay in this hotel again, probably not just because of the issues especially the dust, I have asthma so was taking extra inhaler! I think k when you stay away thr first thing is cleaniness .
