Was an okay stay not a great experience for the price paid for a long weekend.

Parking and convenient location to Cardiff and main routes

Loud music from 7am onwards from downstairs area could hear in the room and can feel the vibrations and thumping from how loud it was causing disturbance on a Sunday and Monday morning. The rooms also get very stuffy and hot were there is no air flow or air conditioning either.

Nice enough hotel but let down by confusion over what you get for your money.

Pool was warm, room was decent and shower was nice. Tasty food but expensive.

No wine in my room when we arrived despite me paying for it. Was told before my visit that check in times couldn’t be changed so despite booking a club room I thought it would be 15:00 check in and 11:00 check out. Then found out on arrival that check in could have been from 14:00 and check out would be 12:00. ‘Sweet treat’ in room was 1 club bar… Couldn’t order a desert at bar and grill at 21:35 because kitchen was closed despite there being the option to book a table at 21:30.

Stay was amazing !!

Staff were very friendly , rooms were clean and very spacious. Beds are comfy . Food is lush and drinks are good prices .

Everything was amazing however tv is room says it’s a smart tv but you can’t access internet so can only watch basic channels rather than YouTub etc

Warm, comfy, well-appointed Cardiff hotel

Great Cardiff location off major intersection/roundabout to A-road & M4. Plenty of parking onsite; free for hotel guests and on weekends to general public. Booked a Kingsize Club Room - so a step above the "basic rooms": lovely amenities you'd expect incl in-room Lor coffee machine, free tea/coffee/water/chocolates. Oh and an extra hour for checkout -- LOVED that! Bed was comfy. Room & bathroom cleanliness lovely. Nice spacious double-shower bathroom, average pressure hot water. Well-appointed ensuite but waste bin a little bit too small. Nice room decorations overall so you feel just a step above a "Premier Inn". Only stayed for 1x night so didn't get to use facilities like gym, pool, spa and restaurant in full ... ordered room service. Tasty, generously-portioned food served with choice of condiments. Of course factor in hotel pricing :) TV was huge size, worked well and came with a selection of "generic" channels that felt like your old analogue TV stations and what feels like it would be at home on BritBox. Wish they upgraded the TVs to more digital set-ups to allow for TV/chromecasting your own personal streaming accounts (eg Netflix, Disney+, all those etc ... ) Staff really friendly and helpful. Lifts are a bit tiny in size so if you have a lot of luggage, a large group or someone with large mobility aids (wheelchairs or similar); you'll probably have to negotiate a few runs of the lift to your floor.

Only serious downside was the view from the room: overlooking much of the flat grey roof and the other side of the hotel. Didn't bother me too much but may be important to others. Lifts are a bit tiny in size so if you have a lot of luggage, a large group or someone with large mobility aids (wheelchairs or similar); you'll probably have to negotiate a few runs of the lift to your floor. TV was huge size, worked well and came with a selection of "generic" channels that felt like your old analogue TV stations and what feels like it would be at home on BritBox. Wish they upgraded the TVs to more digital set-ups to allow for TV/chromecasting your own personal streaming accounts (eg Netflix, Disney+, all those etc ... ) Honestly most of my complaints didn't upset my stay too much, had a really good time in spite of the above.

The room was lovely, the tea and coffee machine was great and I LOVED the shower! There was a large tv with plenty of channels and a comfy bed. I used the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna which were fab and all the staff were very lovely and helpful.

Not worth the money. Won't stay again.

Gym was okay, pretty busy and didn't have all the fine equipment for calesthenics but overall not bad.

Breakfast is very poor. No fresh fruit, poor coffee, scrambled eggs taste terrible. Christmas parties every night, loud and too busy for the normal guests to actually enjoy the hotel stay. Rooms are very average, beds so so, no cleaning of the rooms.

Clean comfortable and relaxing hotel, great staff

Room very comfortable and clean, would be good to have a way to keep fresh milk for morning coffee as there is no fridge. Gym and pool are amazing, Staff are very friendly.

Would have been good to know in advance about early check in and late check out as I asked in the morning after I saw it in the room but there was some confusion and they said I needed to pay when it is free.

Was woken with my 6 year old at 2am,3am and 4.30am by people who were drunk being very loud. No consideration for anyone other than themselves.

Not suitable if you want to get a good night's kip.

the rooms spacious, the beds were really comfortable, leisure facilities were fantastic. staff were helpful and friendly.

this stay was a half term treat for my granddaughters who were very much looking forward to room service after our swim. ordered it and waited and waited. tried using the cue code to contact someone, but it wasn’t helpful, eventually had to take to tired and Hungary little girls down to reception in their pyjamas to sort it out. were told the order hadn’t been received, and had to show my receipt of order and payment.. the staff were very apologetic and sorted it with the kitchen immediately, however it did put a dampener on the stay, and in all waited nearly two hours for food by which time the girls were so tired they hardly ate it.

All good .. near the M5 so excellent as a lay over for tin to the ferry at Fishguard in the afternoon

Location is perfect

The policy for the pool had changed so my daughter is 12 wasn’t allowed in the pool after 7pm so we couldn’t go I ! Had a nuisance family opposite and next door to us in and out of each others rooms and shouting and knocking on our wall at one point! We had to be up really early as we had work and my children had school. We wanted to come for some chill time as w have been homeless for 5 months but it wasn’t relaxing.

Room small for 4 of us in family room Breakfast disappointing. Asked for poached eggs and took beans back because really cold. Egg came ate it in case it went cold then beans came on own. When we booked in for breakfast they didn’t have us down as paid for it ???? Bed was comfortable no problem just very small family room. We were all over 60 and had stairs and long walk to room in the extension .

When we arrived in our room which was for four people. There were only 2 mugs no glasses or plastic cups in bathroom no soap shampoo etc. not enough coffee/teabags etc. no remote for TV and not enough towels. It felt as though you were not expecting us and that our room wasn’t ready. We arrived about 4o’clock. I phoned and a member of staff brought everything up. The staff were great but organisation and professionalism no way and standards definitely dropped.

Location was great

After arrival at 4 pm went to get something to eat and the restaurant .To be informed it was closed due to there was a problem and had no gas after a long day at work we were very hungry. So we thought we would ho for a swim and see if it was fixed as bar staff did say there was a gas man on the way . Made our way to the pool to find it swamped with very small children so waiting for then to leave and made our way to the pool 3 hours later. Finally gas was fixed but the restaurant was was very busy with people who had all ordered the same time waiting for food ended up with nothing went to bed on empty stomach but did sleep

We had the worst sleep possible !! Wedding party were rowdy and loud until gone 3 a.m in the morning! Our room was above main Entrance and smoking area. Surely there should be a time when people are asked to leave or at least respect other paying guests in the hotel .
