I enjoyed my stay clean room beddings quick response to my extra needs.Pleasw add larger bath sheets (large towels) otherwise i had fantastick stay.Now i got new home when visiting cardiff central.

Wasn't what I expected for the price for 1 night, looks more like an hostel than an hotel. Staff was a bit abrupt at first but corrected himself and apologised.

Good for the price. The room was very noisy, shabby and the flooring was dreadful and dirty but the bedding was clean and the bed comfy. It is what it is for the price.

pictures showed a totally different room carpet was different layout of the room was different it looked clean, my carpet was grotty looked like multiple stains bathroom smelled as well as the main room, he wall in the shower was pealing and the window sill in the bathroom was dirty. At least the beds were clean

Good value for money. Only issues for us were that i think the washers in the sink taps need replacing. We liked having an actual key for the room - far better than a card. Clean and Tidy. Opening windows which was a god send compared to our previous nights stay at the Angel !. To have a working tv was nice. And the room was a lovely temperature. Was absolutely ideally located for the Tramshed and we had a great evening. We will be back.

Staff were nice and the room was spacious, sparse and warm. They should put all the stag and hen parties in certain wings though away from normal city visitors.We were kept awake till 3 in the morning! You can park in the roads around the hotel and we chanced not paying as no other cars had parking permits. So basically this hotel was great value for money not the cleanest and room allocation needs work!.

Good stay overall, but the hotel could do with some improvements. Windows were very hard to shut so it meant the first night of our stay was freezing in our room. The walls were also very thin so we could hear every little interaction outside. The shower was more like a light drizzle of water and the lift also wasn't working (this normally wouldn't be an issue but I have trouble walking up stairs due to health issues so it didn't help). We were told that the hotel had just opened so hopefully these are just some teething problems that can be fixed later down the line. Despite this, the staff were super lovely and I would consider staying here again in the future.

Booked a double room but was given a room with 4 single beds. Could hear the person in the next room snoring. Room was dirty - used a towel to dry the bathroom floor and it came up with black marks. Room was weirdly missing bedside lamps. Kettle didn’t work.

Some parts still being refurbished. Good room with clean facilities but very noisy as it was at the front of the hotel. Very good policy regarding food. As they do not have a restaurant you are asked to use their breakfast room if you have a take away and there are plenty of options around the hotel for this. Very friendly staff on the front desk. Parking at hotel is at the back with a controlled gate. If there is no room parking around the hotel is difficult.

The rooms were very basic. The hotel has no lift. But the staff were very helpful and assisted me to carry my luggage up to the 2nd floor. Breakfast was included in the price but very limited.

Fan rattling in night constant dripping noise walls very thin doors banging and TVs playing all night did not sleep at all

OYO hotels had recently taken over this property and have worked hard to redecorate bedrooms and ensuites making it very pleasant to stay there. The outside street and parking area were a little unsightly - but we were in the middle of storm Ciara at the time. Simple 'continental' breakfast - I didn't check if they provided 'full English'.

We had booked two rooms non-smoking. One of the rooms they gave us was smoking so we asked to get moved and there was only one room which was a twin but a kind lady offered her room instead. As we booked this almost a month in advance, I am not sure why we didn't have a non-smoking room. The other room was very dirty the toilet had skid marks but as there were no more rooms we could not be moved. Also there was no hot water for a shower at 10 pm. The hotel was in a great location but unfortunately I would not stay again given the disappointment with the rooms.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Check in and out was stress free. The room and ensuite were of a decent size. Great value for money.

Great stay, perfect location to the city centre and all the bars, restaurants and cinema. Helpful and friendly staff and off street parking which is a massive bonus. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
