Stylish 2BR Apartment near Bute Park

Perfect location right in the heart of Pontcanna. There are cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. Easy walk into Cardiff centre. Apartment had everything we needed.

No parking but we did find spaces on the road nearby.

Property is in excellent location, very close to bars and cafes and lovely parks. I had car park approved for the stay. It was helpful, as the street is residential parking only. The bedrooms and kitchen + bathroom are on different levels which provides privacy and lessens disturbance. One of the bedrooms is a nice big size.

The property was not clean. Bathroom floor was sticky. There were cobwebs everywhere, there was dirt on surfaces, the freezer had broken bits and had some old things still in there. The sofa bed covers were stained. The other sofa had crumbs and dirt on it. All of this can be so easily sorted out but it just felt like the management or owner did not care. The shower is small but manageable, but the sink in the bathroom is tiny. You cannot even wash your face in that sink as it’s so small. The doors have no door stops provided, which becomes very annoying after a while because the doors are automatically shutting with this mechanism keeping them shut. The garden is a sad sad space. The pictures show a picnic bench - only two garden chairs provided. The space is not looked after or pleasant to use. The wifi was provided but was not working well at all. The place has such potential but the owner does not seem to care.
