I was given an upgraded room as the spa facilities were out of order. The room was very clean and bed very comfy. There was a coffee maker in the room and a free mini bar. Lovely views overlooking the city. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was my birthday there was a card brought to my room with a special biscuit saying happy birthday. I was given a drinks voucher to celebrate in the bar. Very nice

Convenient location (a reasonable walking distance to the Principality Stadium - I’d come for the Wales vs New Zealand autumn internationals match), many shopping,” and dining options close by (including high street pedestrianised shopping areas). The main reason we booked Holland house was because we planned to use the pool, but we arrived and the pool was closed. Unexpected problems can happen but we booked the day before when the pool was already closed and it was not advised! When we left it was still closed though advertised online. There was no resolution to it and the complains were never answered. The central heating doesn’t seem work cos all the rooms have many electric heaters that take a while to heat up the room.

Room was tired, also having been to the rugby where we got soaked would have been nice to come back to a warm room, but no only two portable oil heaters were the only heating in there, so was quite cold . Bed was large and comfy and the shower was nice and hot . Tea , coffee provided.We have stayed for the last two years but this will probably be the last , paid £209 for a night , worth it ? Not really tbh

The receptionist did not set our keys properly and had a poor attitude. A party was occupying the restaurant, but we were still charged a tray charge for room service. The bed keeps pulling apart where it can become a twin.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel itself was well looked after and gave really good vibes. My only negative feedback is the condition of the pool area. When your at the pool looking to relax and you're looking around at damaged or rusted walls and features, it really puts you off. I'd recommens a fresh lick of paint and some tropical plants that thrive on humid, damp environment. < This would make a big difference.

The rooms are a bit dated, and rough around the edges, but comfortable and clean. Good valie. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is good, just a short walk to the city. Car park was expensive, and cheaper options available, if more organised than me. Overall a lovely stay and I would stay ahain.

Everything about this stay was about extra charges - expensive parking, pay to swim in the pool, pay for having a dog - isn’t was £80 on top of the room rate making it expensive for an extra night. Would have been better value elsewhere. Good clean shower & nice bathroom. Pillow ok. No opening windows, noisy and not the right side of the city. Unfriendly staff. If you park outside you have to set an alarm to wake at 7am even on a Sunday to love you car or extend the charge as it runs out at 7am. No parking was available in the hotel car park which is outrageous costs anyway. All in all an ok stay but really stung with all the extras.

Lovely room and grest size. Not the most welcoming front desk. We parked in the car park next door which only allowed us to park there from 3pm when we arrived until 7am. The front desk told us we could park beneath the hotel (not clear at all) then when we moved it it was full so had to go back. The spa is awful. Hardly any jets workhnv in jacuzzi , pool had kids swimming lessons going on so we couldn't swim, it all needs a refurb. But the hotel itself was very nice
