The location was amazing. Super close to the Senned and Millennium Centre. Loads of history and local Dr Who filming locations.
Bus stop to the centre of town within minutes.
Plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
Really friendly staff, nice vibe in the reception and bar area.
Great to feel part of the history of Cardiff - so much has happened in that building. Loved having breakfast on the trading floor and trying to puzzle out what it looked like before - so many original features to marvel at.
The bedroom was huge, the beds super comfy, the air con efficient, the curtains dark, the furniture quirky but practical, the jacuzzi bath was marvellous after a long days trekking round town.
TV and Wi-Fi were super glitchy.
Could hear some music playing through the floors/walls/ceiling overnight.
No on site long term parking but you could pay for several hours in bays right next to hotel and could pull up in front to drop off and pick up with no hassle. I booked a JustPark space about 8 mins walk away which was okay.
Could have done with a handheld shower as well as the rainfall one.
Could do with a coffee table in the room but not a deal breaker.

Breakfast was good, plenty on offer. The location was perfect for what we needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Have already recommended this hotel to others.
