Waterfront Lodge - Accommodation Only

Completely self check in process. Seamless if you follow their directions sent. An incredible welcome package of coffee, hot chocolate, oats, different type of milk, chocolates, biscuits and more. We took a family room which was spacious and a washroom you could run about. Hot water in the shower, kettle, a hair dryer and heater round out the facilities. McDonalds, Morrisons supermarket are close by as well as the High Street with restaurants

Not a complaint since they specify that Its purely accommodation only. So while they specified that I think if they allocated a room with a microwave and a paid washer dryer, it would be outstanding.

Great location, comfortable accommodation, great snacks and extras

The room was clean and perfectly well equipped and a decent size. Whilst some of the furnishings were basic they were suitably functional and it was nice to see two chairs (albeit basic ones) in the room, something Premier Inn and Travelodge fail to provide. The bed was comfortable and the shower really good. The location was spot on too, literally 5 minutes walk from Morrisons and the high street, also means its really close to the train station and main bus stands. Also quiet regards traffic despite the Morrisons garage just over the road.

One gripe was the door to the bathroom just needed a little planing on a couple of edges so that it can open and close more easily.

Right at waterfront/ close to shops/ WiFi / great parking facilities

No headboard on bed so was bit uncomfortable/ don’t get fresh towels daily/ you have to be out accomodation by 10am we were just leaving at 9.30am and they were just outside our room door ready to come in to clean it for next guests. Shower is very small cubicle I’m average size 5ft 3inch I found it bit awkward to use
