It’s Quiet- gorgeous loch view from my room. Great selection of snacks and coffee tea water. Room is spacious and decent. Located very near train/bus station and Morrisons but is also secluded and away from the busy-ness

Perfect for short stay while hiking in the aeea

Lodge is right beside the lake, a supermarket, McD's and has views of Ben Nevis. It's perfect for a short stay when hiking around in the area, and want to come back quickly to a comfortable, cosy room. There is no check-in desk, any staff or cafe/bar, but the lots of snacks, tea/coffee, water were included in the room for consumption. That was a good surprise!

We got 4 card keys, out of which 3 stopped working and we panicked we have just 1 functional key while there's no one to address this concern. It would be good to have an easy way to reach staff

We enjoyed our stay in Fort William. It is a good base for exploring the western Highlands.

The breakfast snacks were nice. The location is convenient - grocery stores, the train and bus station, even the main street of the town are within walking distance.

The bed mattress was thin and not very comfortable.

Great place to stay

The supplies of munchies etc exceeded expectations! The bed was very comfortable and the views of the loch were a great bonus. The Lodge is very handy for the shops and High street.

The toilet seat was very loose, hopefully this will be fixed before the next visitor.

The accommodation was clean & comfortable but, basic. Ideally located for the town.

Unfortunately, there were a large group of people who were up at 5am to walk Ben nevis & were very loud & excited. They did apologise & buy me a bunch of flowers 💐

Location, is located in a business park next to a petrol station & a McDonalds. Generally very tatty, no staff, very late check in an early check out. Uncomfortable beds that creaked severely , rock hard pillows, no extractor fan in bathroom (or it wasn’t working- zero staff on duty so couldn’t ask) it was like a sauna after 1st person showered. Most uncomfortable stay ever. After the first night we looked into moving to a different hotel but nothing available.

A nice room, would have lined have known there is no lift. Great room with stunning view. Would an appreciate how to find it for I’m the bus station. Easy enough once I knew, but a bit confusing at first.

We came we visited we had a fantastic time and would return

The room was beautiful and clean and well cared for ( if I had to make a comment the two chairs provided in the room could have been a little more comfortable as the view from the window was relaxing but unfortunately the chairs were not. We would also liked to have been able to sit on the waterside at the front of the property as again the view was exceptionally beautiful.) the staff we encountered were very polite and helpful and a credit to the establishment. The property was only a few minutes walk to the train station, which was our reason for visit as we drove almost 300 miles to ride your famous “ Jacobite” train which must I say was well worth every mile driven.

It would have been nice to have had breakfast facilities in the dining area that was closed off downstairs and maybe had a public house a little nearer as the lodge attached to the premier inn was for there guests only. But saying that because of this it was very quiet and peaceful at the accommodation

No headboard on bed so was bit uncomfortable/ don’t get fresh towels daily/ you have to be out accomodation by 10am we were just leaving at 9.30am and they were just outside our room door ready to come in to clean it for next guests. Shower is very small cubicle I’m average size 5ft 3inch I found it bit awkward to use

The security and placement was perfect! Right next to the town and on the doorstep of Ben Nevis with plenty of great shops people and places to explore couldn't have asked for more

Well located and practical self check in hotel in Fort William

The Waterfront Lodge is a self check in hotel, which worked really well. There was a lot of precise information prior to the stay which made the check in really easy. The room was simple but clean and comfortable. Although the lodge does not offer breakfast, the room was equipped with different options of instant coffee? Hot chocolate, instant porridge, tea as well as biscuits, snacks and water. The check in could not be moved, but it was really easy to leave my luggage with a partner of Stasher, so I could go and explore without having to take my suitcase. The lodge is only a couple of minutes by foot away from the train and bus station as well as the Main Street of the city centre. All in all a lovely, practical stay.

The walls were really thin, so you could hear everything that was happening in the rooms next to mine. However, anticipating that, the hotel provided ear plugs.

A useful 2 night stay and location. The price, reasonable value for money, fairly basic but adequate

It was a useful last minute accommodation for us for 2 nights. The snacks left were helpful and not expected. The room was clean and well prepared, the shower was hot.

The room was not serviced prior to the second night so we took our own rubbish out. As it was a last minute booking we had to phone to find out our Room number as it was not on the email. The door access took several goes with the card to get into the lobby staircase but eventually it worked.

The fact that the room over looked a loch with some stunning views was great, Shame about the bathroom light keep on flickering the whole time... The heater could have worked a bit better instead of on one setting, the highest...The keys cards for entry to the front entrance weren't at all great..and the T.V.s would be nice to be upgraded to include music channels.. There could have been another small light in the room as well..

Room could use a couple of surfaces e.g. night stand and a place to hang towels or put soap in the bathroom. Hotel is unmanned.
