Lochiel Villa Guest House

The place was spotlessly clean, comfy beds, good location, shower was lovely and overall had everything you needed plus beautiful views of the loch - I’d recommend!

This is an unstaffed accommodation so the desk is not manned, we wanted to leave our bags upon check out but this was not an option. Also felt a check in at 4pm and check out at 10am is a bit of a squeeze although you can pay extra to check in early/late

Easy to Get the key. Great communication. Was raining when we arrived and this was very helpful. Very clean.

Clean like new. Bed sheets felt perfect! Everything was spotly clean.

Bathroom sink was weirdly small.

This is a pretty guest house right across from the water, with a fairly easy walk to everything on the High road.

The bed had pretty deep sunken spots, so the only really comfortable part of the bed was up the middle, which you can’t sleep in if there are two people in the bed. It was that uncomfortable. There is virtually no customer service. We arrived shortly before we were originally told we would be able to get inside, and it was very cold and rainy. We could not get into the lock boxes yet so that we could at least put our bags inside and out of the rain. Eventually one part of our party was able to get into their lockbox and into their room, but the other party was given a wrong box and the wrong code, and when you call the phone number of this place, you get different options, but no matter which option you pick the phone hangs up on you. It was frustrating. Then we tried by message, and the AI or bot or whatever is running their customer service kept telling us the lockbox and code were correct, which they weren’t. Finally after a while they gave us the correct lockbox and code and we got inside. There was a big room that used to be a dining room, where in a hospitable place we could have waited until check-in time. But this establishment is not about customer service or hospitality. Sometimes when you messaged, you would get a message back that you could get your answer during office hours. If 4 in the afternoon isn’t office hours, I don’t know what is.
