A perfect stay

The loveliest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The hosts Trevor and Catriona are so welcoming, attentive and hospitable. Beautiful building and room, lovely view of the mountains. Delicious cooked breakfast. No better place to stay in Fort William! We’d definitely love to come back.

Fabulous in Fort William! Indulge yourself in comfort, cleanliness and care!

What a wonderfully warm welcome I received for my stay here. The proprietors couldn't be more lovely. This was very last minute having booked it on the way up to FW! I'm so glad I chose to stay here. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the room and bathroom were really warm and cosy. The experience felt sumptuous with gorgeous toiletries too. This was a great start to my holiday in FW. Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of hot and cold options. You cannot fail to be impressed by the location, staff and the comfort and cleanliness.

This is not a dislike - The lighting was a little low, so to do my make up/hair each day I had to move the mirror to the windowsill as the lighting was just not adequate enough. Obviously you have the bathroom mirror (turn this on on the side edge), but I wanted to sit down at the dressing table. That would be my only issue: is it a major problem? No.

Great location, very disappointing breakfast

Super nice people. Offered good suggestions for dinner. Carried our bags up for us. Gave me an umbrella when I asked.

Breakfast…much could be done to improve this. Even simply getting fresh pastries from bakery down the road to offer instead of plastic packaged ones. For the price it would make it feel a lot more effort is being made. It just felt like it was as cheap as possible. We skipped breakfast the second morning as it was just not good. Asked for eggs well done, over hard and they came a wet mess.

Would stay here everytime in Port William!

Great view and very spacious bedroom & bathroom with a good location on the waterfront close to town. Breakfast was hearty in a lovely room but special mention goes to the wonderful staff/owners Trevor & Katerina (and all the staff!) who were exceptionally welcoming and helpful and made our stay memorable with their good humour and kindness. Thanks!

Comfortable and very wonderful hosts - Trevor was super great to deal with

The room was perfect - bed was so comfortable ! The breakfast was included and was very delicious ! We had a lake view and large bathroom equipped with large claw foot tub! There is easy access parking on site and great guide book for restaurants etc in the area by the hosts. The property is beautifully decorated and the exterior and grounds are extremely well maintained !

Location was perfect a few minutes walk in to town. Breakfast was good and rooms were comfortable. We had a very nice bath tub in ours. Staff was lovely.

We're very glad we chose the Glentower Lower Observatory

Our room was clean and very comfortable with a stunning view of Loch Linnhe. The breakfasts were excellent, with a good choice to cater for varying tastes, and the owners made a point of talking to guests to check that everything was fine and to offer suggestions and advice on exploring the area. We would definitely come back here!

Great stay in Fort William.

Owners friendly outgoing and very helpful with suggestions on things to see and do that you might not get in a guidebook. They also went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The property was beautifully kept spotlessly clean, well furnished. Proximity to town was perfect. Porch was especially fun to relax on and watch the world go by as the sun set over the loch.

We visited on our honeymoon and there was a bottle of prosecco waiting in our room when we arrived. Trevor and Catriona gave us some excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. The location was perfect, with a great view of the loch as soon as you step outside and only a short walk to the high street or a local bus route. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Exceptional

Kattina and Trevor are wonderful hosts, the house is so beautiful and you are made to feel very comfortable as soon as you arrive, if you are going to Fort William I would recommend staying here. The location is very good, just a short walk to the town.
