Breakfast was excellent. Healthy option of fresh fruits, cheese, yogurt and granola, plus tea and toast and orange juice.
House is beautifully kept in traditional style appropriate to its age.
Room comfortable, with sea view, and immaculately clean.
The weather!
But what can you expect in February in Fort William?

Great location- short walk to the town. Very clean throughout.
Bed made daily, and towels changed daily.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Bathroom very small and extractor fan blew out cold air.
Breakfast a bit too early for us.

The location, breakfast and cleanliness.
The size of one room was a bit too small but it was ok for one night.

The property was well situated about a 10-15 minute walk from the station in a beautiful spot overlooking the water. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable.
There was nothing at all we would change!

Nicely appointed guest house with up to date design in room, lounge, and dining area. The people were exceedingly nice and the breakfast was a perfect morning start.
The internet was unstable at certain times of day. This would be fine if I just had a laptop or mobile phone link up; however, the room TV was sourced via internet and the programs would freeze depending on internet stability.

Beautiful spacious first floor room with added bedroom overlooking the lake! Decorated in perfect style of home! Comfy bed and all amenities!
Host was most helpful in answering our questions and guiding us to town for restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was served beautifully and to or liking with cold and hot choices. Parking in rear was an added benefit being close to town. Couldn’t ask for more!

We stayed for 1 night at Myrtle Bank Guest House. Room was very clean and warm with all necessary things (tea, coffee, shower gel). It's very close to the restaurants and bars in the city. We also enjoyed great breakfast with a lake view - I recommend healthy breakfast with yoghurt and fruits.

The property's location was great, with a view to the sea
Room space was good
Has parking in the property at the back, but approach to it was through a small lane
Close to amenities but within driving distance
Lift - not available, we had to lug our suitcases upstairs
Breakfast - ok, not many vegetarian/vegan/healthy choices
Travel - getting/joining to the main road was a bit of pain, as people come tearing down on either side.
During rains, there is no shelter, so moving stuff from the car was also a pain.
Bathroom was renovated with all amenities but very small

Great location, wonderful staff.

Personal service . Choice of breakfast offered.
Time 7 - 9am printed on a plaque outside the breakfast room was a bit intimidating. Being a leisure trip and not in a rush I would have preferred option of breakfast offered to 10am.

My wife and I found the room very clean and very roomy. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the room was brilliant, couldn't stop looking at it.
Asked if we could book an extra night and all they had was one of the houses at the back of the main house which was absolutely brilliant, and the view was as good as the the room we had. The breakfast was very very good and the service was great. The staff were always very helpful, polite and professional.

Bed was comfy
Room was freezing, breakfast was absolutely awful we had to leave it, I’ve never ever tasted anything so cheap and cooked to such a poor standard. Toilet didn’t flush properly. 1 large towel between 2 people.

The room was big and really comfortable, so was the bed - the best sleep on my trip across Scotland
We asked to check out 30 min later and were refused

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. The breakfast lady brilliant. Easy short walk into Main Street for shops and restaurants. Nice view from the rooms and breakfast. They have a few buildings as part of their facilities.
We arrived tired and grumpy from a very long day travelling. After going up 3 flights of stairs, Our room was cold and wiFi not working and we couldn’t bare to take our cases up so we asked for a different room. The staff were very understanding and obliged giving us a great apartment.

Dora the owner is the most wonderful person I have ever met in my entire life. We had a terrible car accident during our stay in the Highlands and she and her staff have been so helpful, supportive and reassuring. Dora helped us like she was our own family, she is an absolute gem. In addition to everything she did for us, I just want to say that the place is beautiful, lovely, well arranged, and ideally located in Fort William. You will be lucky to stay at this place during your vacation. We will definitely go back there for our next stay in Fort William. Dora, thank you so so much again for your kindness and your humanity toward us.
Nothing wrong to say.

Our room had a bathroom but worth it for the view. Toilet paper dispenser and flimsy plastic glasses rather than glass

We liked the spacious and well lit room. The view was fantastic and it was very quiet. Bathroom facilities are fabulous and the beds comfortable. Prices are very reasonable and we'll certainly come back when we are in the area.
There's really nothing to complain. Breakfast portions (cereals & joghurt) were rather small but one can probably ask for more ;)

The property was lovely but the owner had handwritten the booking into her diary for the wrong date and she wanted to blame everyone else for her mistake.

Beautiful, luxurious and cosy - not only the room but all of the house.
Check-in only until 10pm - and this is not clear in the message sent by the staff. The message says “reception open since 1pm to 10pm” and not that you must check-in until 10pm (in many guest houses, there are lockers to keep the keys or the keys may be placed somewhere so the guests arriving later may enter their rooms). It was not the case. We called around 7:30pm to explain why we would arrive later and the lady that answered the call was uncomprehensive and rude. Luckily, everything worked and We loved our stay.

The house, room and grounds were exceptional. Simply beautiful! It felt like staying in a grand manor house of old. See the pictures. Exquisite. The breakfast was great, and the staff were also great. Loved this place.
