Very cosy apartment with comfy beds

Location on the High St
Room and bathroom were very small. Lack of parking due to building works was inconvenient and view of a building site with people walking past the window wasn’t great. Very noisy on corridor with makeshift reception only 2 doors away, could hear every conversation. This was my 2nd time here after a great 1st time, doubt I’ll be back.

I loved the design of the room .
It was very comfy and stylish.
Smart tv .
Excellent set up in kitchen.
Lovely bathroom.
Nice shower. The most beautiful towels .
Bed was super comfy as were pillows .
Very clean .
Only thing I can say was that getting up all those stairs with a big heavy suitcase wasn’t the best .

The room itself is clean and tidy, and equipped with what one needs.
The hotel’s low rating is due to two primary issues.
First, there is an extensive, unadvertised construction taking place. I received no prior notice during booking or in any of the dozen or so pre-arrival emails sent by the hotel staff. Consequently, there was no breakfast served nor parking available, and accessing my suite required walking through an active construction site. (The alternative breakfast the hotel is offering did not sound too tempting, so we skipped it)
Second, the suite contained a permanent green emergency exit light (above the main door) that could not be dimmed nor turned off. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels, I have never encountered this inside a guest room. The resulting glare made it impossible to sleep in a dark environment.

A last minute get away to Fort Willliam.
Hotel was immaculate and staff very friendly.
Parking.
Very disappointed we needed to park offsite at a cost of £10 per car per day.
We had two cars with us as my husband was heading north for work and I headed back home to the west coast.
If we had know there was no parking, we probably would have stayed somewhere else.

The luxury suite was really nice, great size with plenty space and beautifully decorated. The staff were lovely and professional, making us feel very welcome.
The view from the luxury suite was really disappointing. We actually contemplated changing to a standard room if the view was better, but we were only there for one night so decided to close the curtains instead.

Good location. We were offered early check in which was nice. The general manager who checked us in was lovely. The room was small, but clean and comfortable.
There was no conceivable way to use the shower without flooding the bathroom. It was a monsoon shower head and there was a tiny shower curtain that didn’t even touch the floor. The hotel is obviously aware as there is a sign that tells you to put the bath mat up against the door to prevent flooding the carpet outside the bathroom. We didn’t shower. We only stayed overnight and left early the next morning otherwise we would have requested a room with a usable shower

Love the location and the cleanliness of the rooms when you get the right room you get a great view of loch linnhe you can see boats and if you have binoculars or even just great eyesight you will see seals or if you are lucky enough you will see porpoise
Although the room we were in was comfortable i felt the bathroom was a bit small but was manageable

Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Inadequate parking. Only 4 spots for many rooms. Open air public carpark 2 minute walk away at a cost of £10 overnight. Some staff, not all, could work on their customer contact skills.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious for the price. The bed was large and very comfortable. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and cheerful.
The shower pressure was strong and the temperature was easy to adjust.
There was a lack of space to hang clothes - no wardrobe and only a handful of hangers on a rail. It was impossible to remove the hangers from the rail, so you had to hang the clothes on them as opposed to arranging them properly before hanging.
There was also limited space on the bedside table for books etc.

Great location. Clean and updated decor. Staff were friendly.
It wasn’t a one bedroom - there was only a small partition. Small for four people. Most expensive place we stayed in in Scotland, and the least amount of space.

Great location, just a short walk from the main city centre where all the bars and restaurants are and in a quiet pocket. Also a short walk to the train station for those taking the Harry Potter train. Has a nice bar downstairs too. Bed comfy. Brekky nice.
Everything was great.

Couldn’t enjoy anything bcz of the below
I booked the Garrison Suite, Fort William, expecting a premium experience for my family (2 adults and 2 kids). Instead, I felt completely cheated.
Despite paying for one of their most expensive suites and checking in early, I was given a room on the second floor with no lift. I had to climb 35 steep steps (felt like 350) carrying all our luggage and handling two kids. When I asked at reception, they casually said, “your room is right behind the hotel”—but in reality, it was a long way up. They offered no help with luggage and no clear communication.
To make it worse:
• Booking.com shows that the property has an elevator, but they told me the expensive suites are not served by the elevator. This crucial detail is hidden deep inside booking.com which you will not easily notice.
• I watched another family with no little kids (different race, checked in after me) given a room with easy access on the first floor—while I was put in the farthest, most inconvenient room despite traveling with kids. When inquired later about this, no clear explanation provided.
• The promised sofa bed was not even set up when we entered.
• And to top it off, a bright green emergency exit light stayed lit all night inside the room on top of your bed, making it impossible to have a comfortable sleep
I have stayed in many hotels throughout my long trip across the UK, and this was by far the worst experience. I paid for a “suite” but got the worst possible accommodation with misleading information, zero support, and poor service.
Would never recommend. Overpriced, misleading, and disappointing.

Location really good have parking area
Extra bed didnt comfort// property has “fan” in the list but in reality customer have to ask reception for a fan. That time was quite warm and reception told that other customers took all the fan. That is the problem. I think they should have fan in every room in case. Too hot in summer

The breakfast was lovely, served to your table by friendly and professional staff. Loved the pancakes and melon balls in a glass jar. Loved that we were able to park for free. Very close to all amenities in Fort William, everything within walking distance.
The lack of a wardrobe and just a short rod to hang clothes with very few hangers.

Great location, helpful staff, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast, on-site parking.
For the price you pay, the hotel can look a little tired in places, e.g. dirty/slightly torn curtains and carpets, and the rooms are definitely on the smaller side.

Breakfast
I booked a Superior Double Room at this hotel in August 2024 for a stay on May 30, 2025, which had a higher price. Also, I did the online check-in early in the morning as I was going to arrive at the hotel around 5:30pm. But when I entered in the room, I noticed that they had given us a "disabled room" with a ridiculous tiny and low sink that you could hardly use. No glass door in the shower, a mess. We went to the front desk to ask for another room, but the manager on duty just said that she didn't have another room to alocate us and refused to give a discount or compensation for the mistake. She was completely indifferent. I should also mention that I thought this was a premium hotel, as compared to others in the area, however the hotel has no curb appeal, just a block. The interior was also very plain with cheap materials and very dark bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We got a suite and were very glad it was in a separate building — and with a dedicated parking spot. The decor was modern and everything was very neat and clean.
Room was a bit tight and extremely overpriced (~$400 USD).

Perfect modern with usb points as. Forgot one of my plugs perfect in the middle of fort William nice touch with tunnocks caramel wafers, bottles of water but didn’t think too much of crisps lol
Bathroom bit dark and couldn’t really see in mirror however there was a spotlight and my rotor on the dressing table

Location was great, rooms nice, clean and comfortable. Stairs to the back apartments were a bit of an inconvenience as we had to carry heavy luggage up. No lift to those apartments unfortunately. We looked into the back of the main hotel, no view sadly.
No view, no lift, and we could hear others in their rooms through the walls.

Rooms were very small and hot!! Breakfast wasn’t included for two of the four of our rooms. Parking wasn’t sufficient.
