This accommodation was excellent value for money. It's located a few minutes walk from the town centre so really close to bars and restaurants. There was a Lidl next door which was very convenient. The room itself was spotlessly clean and it was great having use of the kitchen/lounge area as we could make our own breakfast and watch TV. The staff were lovely. The caretaker found us a hairdryer to use which was really helpful and the cleaner was very friendly and gave us useful information about Ben Nevis. All in all, this place exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend.
It was all good. :)

I liked that it was close to the center
We were charged for two people in each room when there was a single room and a single bed

The accommodation was close to the train station and city center. The check-in and check-out was smooth
This accommodation is not expensive, and sadly, the quality of the place wasn't great either. The beds are full of metal springs that make noise when you move. All the doors close really loudly, so if you go to bed early you get woken up by all the other people coming in later (even with earplugs). If you go to bed later you'd be woken up by other people in the morning, I'd reckon.

Everything was fine
Soap in the room would have been good

Clean comfortable basic accommodation that is good value for this time of year in Fort William. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy to get food from Lidl and Morrisons. Shared Kitchen - 2 large fridge freezers, microwave, cooker. Cups, plates, cutlery but only one pot. Some glasses. Couple of settees and breakfast bar. Room- It’s a small double bed and small toilet washbasin and shower but perfectly functional. Need to bring your own soap. Overall suited us well for a hill walking weekend.
Nothing - its basic student accommodation and as long as you recognise that before you book it’s fine.

The room and bathroom were spotless as was the linen. The communal kitchen was a bit grotty.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and it was in a great location for the finish of the west highland way race.

Parking included. Elevator included.
Disgusting kitchen, unusable dish & cookware, filthy. Repurposed dorm room, not suitable for more than 1 person, especially the so called 'bed'. Linen & towels stained, plastic wrapped & heavily worn matress. Insufficient noise cancellation of room. Cost-value-ratio not representetive in the slightest. 200 GBP for 4 persons for one night, way overpriced (at least twice the appropriate rate).

The location was absolutely brilliant - central to town, 2 supermarkets next door, within walking distance of Ben Nevis (3 miles), Neptunes Staircase also delightful canal paths. A variety of eating places, cafes, restaurants all within walking distance for everyone. The staff (amazing) are so helpful, whether it's knowledge of the area, or support in order to make your stay in the accommodation trouble free.
I recommend it with pleasure.
It would be outstanding accommodation if there was a protective mattress cover for the bed also protective pillow cover for pillows.

Room size is standard (not big or too small). Great location, around 5 minutes walk from the train station. Reasonable price.
Room was a bit dirty, especially, the floor.

close to a supermarket (20 meters), 3 sisters and ben nevis
the common kitchen was dirty, not smelling good, and the equipments weren't working well, or at all.
beds are more for 1,5 pers than 2 pers.
the fire alarm has been tested for nothing during the summer, at 7am.
the temperature in the room was TOOOOOO hot for nothing and no possibiliy to stop that.
the rooms are close to the kitchen where everybody go every morning, to wake you up in a hard way, you will hear every footsteps from people during your sleep.

It allowed me to stay in the centre of Fort William when it was pretty much booked up.
Bed linen and towels were clean
It felt more like an expensive hostel than anything else.
The pillows were barely 3D. No coat hangers in the wardrobe. The kitchens were clearly as the students left them (random crockery and slightly sticky. No hairdryer.
Room was very warm to so work out how to open the window, fast

The property leaves out free to use “gadgets” and the entrance. It’s also a very laid back place in a good location.
The shower and sink overflowed

The security guy was really nice
The location is close to two big supermarkets and 10 minutes walk to the street
The bed is the worst that I've ever had on an accomodation
You could feel the structure of the mattress
Also the room doesn't have AC so you have to keep the window open and bugs and mosquitoes are come in all the times

Way too hot and thermostat broken

The location, a short walk from two supermarkets, was good for self-catering. I have stayed in about 20 other university halls during the summer vacation and the set-up was fairly standard compared to them. The bed was comfortable. The hot water was hot. The kitchen had the means to cook meals and there was ample space in the fridges and freezers.
The kitchen crockery and cutlery was somewhat restricted (although I had brought my own). The bath/shower room was pretty clean, although there were three dark hairs I could see where the wall met the floor (I have grey hair!). There didn't seem to be an obvious place to hang up towels, although, after I had handed in my entry card prior to leaving, the security officer told be there were some hooks by the shower door - I can only assume that they couldn't have been very prominent. The pillows were extremely soft and I just used the harder pillows I had brought with me.

A private bathroom was nice to have.
The kitchen was quite undersupplied. No cutting board and very little crockery made it challenging.

Clean, secure accommodation.
Warm shower
Good location
Polite staff
Partying and loud music throughout the night in nearby rooms
Room far too warm (even with window open)
Extremely thin mattress (don't sit down too hard on it)

the location is good and the staff is nice
didnt expect much since it is a youth hostel, but the bedrooms and double beds are not suitable for two people, especially considering the price which was bigger than edinburgh or glasgow

Good location
Whole facility needed a good clean, mattress was lumpy and no mattress protector, just a sheet. "Fully equipped shared kitchen" was NOT. No toaster, no forks, two knives, two spoons no plug or dushbrush so couldn't wash dishes easily.
