It’s in a lovely location and the young man who checked us in and got us breakfast was very lovely

It could of been better if there was a time limit on when u can use the spa bath in your room because the ones around us were using it till very late and then started again about the back of 7am

Its a great place to stay. Bang in the centre of town, great price, clean and a top place to stay.

I only paid 65£ for my single room. Whilst it was small it was very clean modern and very comfortable. The breakfast was included which was great, staff were very kind and helpful so overall a great place to stay.

The car parking is small but there's a huge car park 50 yards away which is very cheap.

Decent enough room, nice and warm, comfy bed, good bathroom. Good price, although it's only January. Got parking but, would be more problematic in high season. Nice enough lounge tho bar prices could have been a bit cheaper.

Nice place. I don’t get the negative reviews. We were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was clean and warm the breakfast was great and it’s right in the town centre. Free parking with a permit from reception. Very good. Would book again.

Central. A good price. Tea & coffee and biscuits in the room. Breakfast, although very basic, was only £4pp extra through booking.com. It would have been £13 pp if paying at the hotel. Clean.

Very noisy from guests getting back from the pubs. Noise outside the hotel too. People shouting between 12 and 1. . Tap in the bathroom wouldn't turn off. Shower was only a trickle of water.

Really good value for money as long as you don't mind an early morning start.

Lovely spacious room and bathroom, incl Spa Bath. Had Pizza in Restaurant which was really nice, with everything made fresh (incl base).

2 minor issues - Not a proper shower, it was a hand held shower head which was very awkward. First thing in morning, I heard the water pump working. This operated every-time another guest used their bathroom facilities. I arrived late the night before and hadn't planned on an early start but from just after 6am the pump was working intermittently till about 8.

Breakfast on day one was poor....bus group had left and cooked breakfast felt like reheat.Dinner day one.......we chose Indian thinking with management being of that decent, it would be special but it wasn't.

The location right in town was brilliant as we were so close to everything. The room was huge and bathroom very comfortable.

The breakfast was good but very little choice at the continental section. However what we were able to order was tasty.

Location was good

Tired decor, carets looked grubby in hall and landing. Breakfast could be better poor quality ingredients and terrible coffee no staff around when we arrived had to hunt for someone to help. We are out in the town where there was more choice. The dining room chairs were sooo uncomfortable they need changing.

It’d be a stretch to call it a 3 Star. Probably one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed at in quite some time. The staff hotel restaurant must have a deal with a tour bus company because it was overcrowded with non-guests; hotel staff generally unavailable.

Asked for early check in using messages in booking.com - no response to either regarding. Shower wasn’t good - no pressure then low pressure. Too many stairs with large bags _ asked for room on lower level and was given one on top level

Poor quality food at breakfast, cheapest low quality bread, stale muesli, small portion of cooked breakfast, poor quality juice (really orange coloured sugar water) Corridors were a maze, place looked dated and worn. The taps of the shower were a nightmare.

It was a hotel trying too hard to please without sorting out the basics. The decor needed refreshing. Also bed mattress was old, very. There was a big hole in the floor under the carpet by the bathroom. Bathroom was nice and new. But room wasn’t. Food was ok.
