A warm place to lay my head and plan some hikes, and then recuperate from the cold.

I didn't order the breakfast, and the only downside I had about the location was that it was uphill. The gradient the first night I found the place, was very steep especially with luggage. Every other time I was going to and from the location I took the slightly longer but easier uphill road. Of course, being so high above the local sea level did mean good views. The internet was solid and had good speed. The ensuite bathroom was great. There was a portable heater for the room because it got COLD in January.

There was nothing problematic about the place, that the owners/host could do anything about. Cold in January? Up a steep road? Yeah, that's Scotland.

Adorable older place. Lovely cosy aesthetic. Breakfast was amazing- do recommend the cooler breakfast. Easy Check-in, comfortable bed and clean en suite. Would stay again.

Wonderful place to reside for our adventures in the scenic shadow of Ben Nevis.

Hosts were especially kind, and permitted us entry a few hours early. Breakfast was bespoke and well prepared. Beds, bathroom, and living space were all that could be desired for a modest travelling couple.

Private quiet B&B with lots of teas.

Nice quiet location, great breakfast, Georgio is a charming host. I appreciated the Sleepy time tea.

The window did not open, but that was because the parts were on order from the storm the week before. A fan would have been useful but he did not have one available. We made due and it was fine.

Very comfortable room with a lovely view out to the water. Great breakfast. Friendly host.

Price was higher than expected but there was very little availability in town. Not sure if the guest house increased the rate or if Bookings.com did.

A place a rest after a beautiful and challenging hike up Ben Nevis.

Easy to get to from the train and bus station. Not far from Ben Nevis visitor center. The owner was kind and lent his hiking poles for us which was very helpful hiking up. Breakfast was not included but available for a reasonable price.

Lovely stay

Great location, very close to the pubs and restaurants, but in a quiet residential area in the same time. The owner was really nice and prepared us great breakfast in the morning. There was no problem with late check in. The room was comfortable.

The towels were thick, the toilet paper was soft & breakfast was good.

The bed was terrible, ( the mattress springs were gone) the room was HOT, we opened the window only to have the main route for drunks to pass by through the night screaming, the floor creaked so you can hear when anyone in the house moved, the ensuite was adequate but the shower recess was small so you could hardly reach down to your feet.

Stobhan review

Friendly owner. Dried my wet clothes for me nice man and the other lady was very nice too. Very good location and just two minutes walk to the main street where all the shops and bars restaurants are. Nice residential area very clean and good facilities comfortable bed.

Fine comfortable bedroom

Okay stay. Room was a bit small and older furniture. But shower was hot and it was easy to get to town for dinner and breakfast and the train station was close by.

Najlepszy dom gościnny w którym byłam.

Bardzo miły i pomocny właściciel. Przyszłyśmy po całym dniu w deszczu przemokniete. Pan właściciel wysuszył nam ubrania w suszarce i przyniósł do pokoju co było bardzo miłe. Śniadanie było przepyszne i podane z klasą. Na korytarzu dostępny był duży wybór przepysznych herbat i słodyczy.

Spontane Unterkunft

Konnte super spontan noch unterkommen und wurde sehr herzlich empfangen! Das Gemeinschaftsbad war wirklich groß und schien nur von mir genutzt zu werden (es waren definitiv andere Gäste da). Das Haus liegt oberhalb vom kleinen Zentrum und damit im schöneren Teil von Fort William. Von meinem Fenster aus konnte ich auf's Wasser schauen!
