Fantastic hosts and venue.

Amazing venue with stunning views from breakfast room. Andy and Carol were exceptional hosts with a wealth of knowledge and advice regarding places to visit, things to see and do and best places to eat. Choice at breakfast was amazing with both continental breakfast and fully cooked available. Room spotless. Kettle with tea, coffee biscuits and mints. Excellent sized mug to drink from was much appreciated . Thank you so much Carol and Andy.

One of the best B and Bs we have stayed in, will definitely be back.

We loved the location, being away from the main road made it very quiet and the view from our room was lovely. The choices for breakfast were excellent, everything cooked to perfection and we particularly liked the fresh fruit that was available. We also liked having a fridge for guests use and a 'proper' coffee machine! Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts, they had thought of everything and their local knowledge was really helpful.

Great little B&B, fab location and hosts were great.

The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and nothing was too much trouble. The hosts were very knowledgeable about the area and helped with advice and information. The location was superb, although quite a jaunt on foot as it’s located up a hill, well worth it though as the views were great over the loch.

I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like to be honest.

Carole and Andy were excellent hosts. They were friendly and helpful and go beyond to ensure their guests have a good experience. They also have lots of information and tips on things to don and see locally. The breakfast was excellent and the room very comfortable. The views from front of the B&B overlooking the water are beautiful.

A cosy base to explore Fort William

We had a fab stay. Andy and Carole were kind and friendly hosts. The personalised touch they have added to this accomodation makes it all the more special. Breakfast was plentiful and well-cooked. Location: about a 30 mins walk from the main town center; easy to navigate.

Andy and Carole were fantastic hosts, very knowledgable of the area, and very accommodating with a good variety of breakfast to select from. A bonus is they have 2 gorgeous dogs, who we were allowed to meet at the end of our stay!

My stay at Balcarres was perfectly comfortable and peaceful and meeting Carole and Andy made my trip very special. They are lovely people living their dream! Thank you for your hospitality! The view of the loch from my window was simply spectacular! Breakfast highlights were the yummy scrambled eggs and rainbow fruit salad.
