A very comfortable and friendly place to stay.

The owners are very easy to communicate with and are very kind and efficient. In particular I forgot a sweater there and they were really nice to hold it until a friend could pass by and pick it up. The room was clean and comfortable.

It is a little bit of a walk to the main street of Fort William, and it is a little bit expensive, but we would stay there again.

Having returned from Ashburn House, I feel it important to say, that is what a Guest House should be. The hosts Hayley & Trevor are the most helpful & friendly you could wish for. The view from Ashburn house was amazing. our room and ensuite bathroom were great too although a few stairs to climb with bags. breakfast was good too..cereals, coffee, pastries and croissants, yoghurts, fruit.. would highly recommend.

Amazing property and owners!

Communication throughout was exceptional. Even in advance, I received an email that provided the names of places to eat and taxi company. A to-go breakfast was provided one morning, since I was leaving early to go climbing. My room was modern, excellent shower (water pressure and heat) and heated towel rack and the bed was very comfortable. The owners certainly show pride of ownership in the renovations they have done.

Honestly, I am not aware of anything that could have been improved upon. I am a frequent traveler and the Ashburn House is easily in the top 5% of places I have stayed. I travel all over the world and have Gold status in the brand name hotels. I am so glad these brand name hotels were not in Fort William so I could experience this gem!

Felt so welcome. Hayley is a natural hostess and put on the most amazing continental breakfast you can imagine including homemade goodies. There were yummy treats in the room too. A beautiful family run place. Comfy bed. A great view too. I loved my stay.

Friendly and helpful welcome from the hostess. Varied and plentiful continental breakfast. Cleanliness of the hotel and lovely decor. Exceptional view from my bedroom window and the shower was fabulous.

Unfortunately the Wi-Fi went down through no fault of the hosts however they were working hard to rectify the issue.

Wonderful hostess beautiful view of the laje

Simple but lovely - nice croissants, cereals, yoghurts we were tired of eating out after being on the road for two weeks so we went to grocery store and brought back dinner. Was able to sit in a private sitting living room to have dinner and watch the rain come down.

Wonderful B&B stay

My husband and I had wonderful stay in Ashburn House. Haley and husband (and their son) were friendly and warm. They really made us feel welcome. The house is located right in front of the lake with the mountains in the background. That was the view we had from our beautifully appointed room. Town center was only a short drive away or maybe 30 min walk from the house. Continental breakfast was served every morning. We would definitely come back and stay if we ever go to Fort William.

Heavenly home by the water

Very cosy room overlooking the Loch, with private bathroom and TV. The hosts were very welcoming and nice. Also had a nice breakfast included every morning with many homemade options which was delicious! Finally, the place is not too far from Fort William city centre (about 20 minutes walk).

Perfect place to stay for a relaxing break.

The staff were lovely. It was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was superb. The garden is beautiful to sit in after an exhausting day out. The view is lovely.
