Excellent, also for longer stays

Very cosy and well-tended place with a very friendly and helpful owner. Room was very clean, modernly equipped and contained a nicely sorted tea/coffee cooking facility as well as a small fridge. The breakfast was excellent, definitely the best we had so far in UK.

There is a minor street passing the house, leading to a residential area close by. When you sleep with opened window, street traffic might be a bit annoying if you go to bed early or sleep-in late.

Warm and welcoming—a perfect night’s stay!

Lovely guest house with beautiful rooms and views of the water. We came off the West Highland Way and had been booked into other accommodations, which were just awful. We booked Whinburn Guest House and showed up right away. Donna was wonderfully welcoming and had a room ready for us. The beds were comfortable, the towels warm, and tea was ready to go. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and wonderful. I highly recommend Whinburn—we will stay again the next time we’re in Fort William!

We had an amazing stay at Whinburn Guesthouse - not only was our room absolutely beautiful, but Donna was an incredible host and so lovely. Our very modern and clean room had a brilliant view, plenty of space, a comfy bed, and a great walk in shower. Just two minutes off the high street we didn't have far to walk at all for dinner or heading out. Breakfast had lots of options, and as someone with dietary requirements I really appreciated everything being available and clearly labelled, including vegan and gluten free options. Didn't have to ask for anything. We'll be back!

Great B&B! Donna is a very friendly and competent manager. The beds are very comfy, everything is very new and clean, and it's in a good spot just off the main High Street strip. Breakfast was high quality as well.

The breakfast was superb. Five star with fresh eggs. The menu was highly rated. Service was very quick. Could not fault anything.

The wifi I had a problem with at times in my room. But it could have been as I was in the far corner of the room. But not a major issue. The price was more than I normally pay per night but everything was perfect.

The breakfasts in the morning are very nice. Also the host Donna was very kind to us. Everything was super clean. Nice restaurants close to the guest house.

No big negatives. The beds are a bit short (we are tall people), but didn't experience any inconvenience by it

Perfect location. Donna has great pride in her guest house and this shows. The room was immaculate and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great too. Donna was very accommodating on a couple of requests. I would definitely recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed.

Donna is a most welcoming host. I arrived early on the Caledonian sleeper train and was gratefully allowed an early check in time. The premises are exceptionally clean and fresh throughout. The en suite room was modern, comfortable and easily met all requirements, with the added bonus of great lake and mountain views. The breakfast was varied, fresh fruit salad, toast, cereals cooked eggs to your choice and great coffee! In my experience it would be hard to find fault after an enjoyable stay.

Perfection in Ft Williams!

This guest house was perfectly located right off the Main Street for easy walking to restaurants, shopping, and some museums/church. We appreciated the lovely views, garden, and attention to detail in decor and wonderful, made to order hot breakfast options and fruit cup.

Nothing- it was the perfect location for my family. We filled the 3 bedrooms so felt like we had the place to ourselves.

Welcoming host and great location

Host was very friendly and welcoming and cooked a fantastic breakfast. Great location, not far from the centre and very close to pubs and restaurants. Rooms were lovely and we appreciated all the little touches which made our stay really special. This place was perfect for our honeymoon!

Donna is a great hostess. The property is immaculate and comfortable. It has a beautiful view of the loch and is a short, easy walk to the high street for restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and tasty. all in all, an excellent stay.
