Very cosy and well-tended place with a very friendly and helpful owner. Room was very clean, modernly equipped and contained a nicely sorted tea/coffee cooking facility as well as a small fridge. The breakfast was excellent, definitely the best we had so far in UK.
There is a minor street passing the house, leading to a residential area close by. When you sleep with opened window, street traffic might be a bit annoying if you go to bed early or sleep-in late.

Lovely guest house with beautiful rooms and views of the water. We came off the West Highland Way and had been booked into other accommodations, which were just awful. We booked Whinburn Guest House and showed up right away. Donna was wonderfully welcoming and had a room ready for us. The beds were comfortable, the towels warm, and tea was ready to go. Breakfast the next morning was fresh and wonderful. I highly recommend Whinburn—we will stay again the next time we’re in Fort William!
