Single room, bed OK but room tired & tiles in bathroom need replacing & regrouting, needs new toilet seat & toilet holder rusty, shower poor, did not use as soap supplied was dreadful, on a better note, the breakfast was very good which made up for the dissatisfied room.
Room needs alot af attention.

Communication was good, breakfast was ample and the staff were welcoming.
The place had an older, well-worn feel.

Location was only plus.
Owner was very matter of fact when we checked in not very friendly
Bery old fashioned decor it seemed clean ish but I had bites on my legs the following day.
Breakfast ends at 8-45 am we went for breakfast at 9-10 and were greeted with hostility I told you breakfast finished at 8-45 last night he said while his wife spoke at us in italian gesturing us out of the restaurant, we left and got breakfast elsewhere

We were exhausted after travel, the owner suggested a place to eat and we then collapsed into the most comfortable bed. I had forgotten about breakfast so that was a bonus.

The breakfast was surprisingly good and had lots of options. Management was very helpful in storing bags.
This is a utilitarian place to stay. The rooms are small and bathrooms smaller. One of our party stayed in a room where the bathroom was built into the eaves of the building so they could not stand fully in the shower.

Nice breakfast, comfortable, clean & quiet
Bit out of town centre

Good location, nice people. Good for one or two nights. The house is a little bit old, but charming.
Maybe add some cheese or ham during breakfast.

Clean. Quiet. Has everything basic that you need but nothing extra at all.
Everything was bare minimum. Shower was under the roof and too small to stand up in. Room was tiny. No restaurant. No lobby or lounge. Buffet breakfast was “ok”. For the price, it was disappointing.

Great location
The shower is hard to adjust, therefore I gave up shower.

Breakfast was good, lots of parking space
Family room size was smaller than expected, should have light blocking curtains

The breakfast was lovely. Nice selection of fresh things. Absolutely beautifully cooked and presented. We liked the location as the conversion of historic buildings was interesting. It was some distance to walk into the town but we found a nice walking route using the Great Glen footpath. This could be put in the visitor information as it’s much nicer than walking along the busy road.
We loved our room - spacious and comfortable, very clean, and we liked the quarter circle shape.
Our hosts were wonderful - so friendly and kind.

Great location. Never needed to move the car all the time we stayed there.
Room was quite small for 3 adults. I’m sure double/twin rooms would be fine. Also the room we were allocated had very small windows, not a lot of natural light. Water pressure poor in the bathroom.
4.0 / 10.0
Breakfast poor, facilities poor. No staff available, seem to have cut staff to keep costs low. Most expensive night of the trip and the poorest
Advised to not get water in the bathroom floor but no mat for the shower! Asked previously about parking for motorbikes and advised there was a shed but on arrival told that parking was in the carpark only. Breakfast dull! Lack of staff. On arrival, couldn’t get rid of us quick enough. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend

It has all the es essentials. A comfy bed, an ensuite bathroom and a great breakfast. The location is good too. It's reasonably close to the train station.
This is very pedantic of me I know but it would have been nice to have a bath matt as the bath room floor was slippery

Location good, easy to walk into town, or Glen Nevis. Cooked breakfast available, fruit, cereals, toast, fruit juice etc. Breakfast room well laid out, clean and welcoming, self service. Owner was around making sure food was replenished when required. Nice little touch, jar of sweets on reception desk. Good guest parking at back of house.

Quite central location.
Private car park .
Bed & breakfast option.
Breakfast was a bit disorganised, and self service ( buffet). Constantly waiting for dishes to be refilled , if not done at all ! .

Great shower and bathroom. Breakfast was really good and plentiful. Ample parking.
Room was a little small with a dodgy tv that could only pick up bbc channels.
8.0 / 10.0
Staff was very good. Prompt responses and good catering to our needs. Rooms are simple but very clean and airy enough for us. Bathrooms were squeaky clean, better than in some 5-stars hotels. Ample parking space, and cars are out of the way at the backside (kind of , bakcside).
One side of the property sits next to the road, so windows are opening to the city noise. It's not their fault, but take this into account when booking.

Lovely couple running the place were very helpful & friendly.
15 mins walk to town restaurants etc
Noise from the road & light from street lights affected our sleep.
Basic accommodation which was ok price for the area but expensive compared to other properties we’ve stayed at on our trip in the UK.

Breakfast was good overall, but limited choice of fresh fruit and no pastries available when I was there. The room was clean but could have done with a bit of TLC. The location was good. A short walk to the railway station and town centre. Car parking available at the vack of the venue.
The venue overall was in need of some TLC. Perhaps our stay was before any decoration or update? T he owners need to check their crockery for cleanliness after removing from the dishwasher and to check for cracks and chips.

Breakfast was very good great choice of cereal and good service
Only fault was climbing stairs to get too our room as we were elderly and disabled
9.0 / 10.0
Check in was easy, room was cozy, location was good as it was in easy walking distance to restaurants.
Being on a busy street, there was a lot of traffic so if you are a light sleeper, this may be a minor issue.

AMBIANCE
OUR ROOM WAS VERY SMALL AND THE BED WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I WAS ALSO CHARGED £20 TO PARK MY CAR FOR 6 DAYS. THE GUEST HOUSE WAS NICE LOOKING AND LOCATION WAS OK BUT I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.

Friendly staff and good breakfast.
Very small room but good value for money on a budget trip.
