Unfortunately, our experience at this property was disappointing. The building is quite old, and the room had a noticeable moisture and damp smell throughout my stay, which made it feel less comfortable than expected. After checking out, my child and I developed what appeared to be bedbug bites. While I cannot say with certainty that they originated from this property, the timing was concerning enough that I felt it was important to mention so the management can investigate. Overall, I hope the property addresses these issues by improving room maintenance and ventilation and thoroughly inspecting for potential pest problems to provide a better experience for future guests.

Very warm welcome, amazing piping hot facility throughout the spa including the pool which was roastin. Pedro was a top guy with a great Polish beer recommendation. Bit pricey for what it is but it's fort william not the fort at easterhouse. Staff were very nice.

On arriving at the hotel, we were shocked at how run down it looked. It doesn’t match up with the website photos. However, we did receive a warm welcome at the reception desk. The rendering is coming off the exterior walls & even the hotel sign is dilapidated with letters missing. To be fair, the room itself was clean, but the wallpaper was coming away from the walls in places. Internally, the carpets are badly worn in places & the ceilings need repair work. One of the worst things was the constant noise of water dripping all night long on to the flat roof outside our window, like an ear worm. We couldn’t close the window because the room was extremely hot, so it was impossible to cut out the continuous loud dripping noise. The walls are thin & you could hear other people’s conversations through the wall, so all in all, not conducive to a good night’s sleep. We didn’t feel it was good value for money.

Staff very friendly and helpful, food good, Leisure centre swimming pool still cold for at least 2 months now. Hair dryers not working has been like that for over a year and a half shocking.
