Les Cabanes de Do

We had a very warm welcome from the hostess on arrival. The room was so thoughtfully and tastefully appointed. The best bit was the way the hostess brought a basket full of delicious items for breakfast to our cabin. The location for an easy walk along the river into Le Mans was perfect. We loved the night-time illuminations - what a great treat!

The only minor thing we didn't like, was the way we couldn't ventilate the room. We like to sleep with a window slightly open, but this was not possible.

The location is wonderful, just a 10 minute walk into the Old Town in Le Mans and Dominique, the lovely owner told us where to go to see the Cathedral and the amazing light shows! The room was super clean and perfect for a stop over and the breakfast was lovely and fresh! The secure parking was the absolute best as we were travelling to Southwest France and had all our fishing equipment in our car and knowing it was behind a locked gate all night and near us was very reassuring! We will definitely book again when travelling in France! Thank you Dominique! 💕

Excellent location just 5 mins walk from the old city's Roman walls, close to the river. Immaculate self-contained studio accommodation with spotless, well-appointed bathroom all set in a charming small garden. Safe parking. Delicious breakfast served al fresco on the terrace. Tea/coffee-making supplies topped up daily. Concerns about being near a main road were totally unfounded, the road is very quiet (and the studios well insulated). We stayed at the end of the heatwave in late August and were glad of the electric fan inside and sunshade outside. Dominique is very friendly and helpful; she also appreciates being updated if you're running late. Le Mans itself is an overlooked gem. A delightful experience at Les Cabanes, would happily recommend.

clean property. Great coffee machine. Good continental breakfast. Good shower. Good sized bed but not much space around it.

No windows which opened, so got really hot in night (in October) and had to open door. Very close to Road, not a problem until we had to open door, then constant traffic noise from very early.
