Lovely place, would stay again

Great location for a stop over with a dog. Nice park nearby and nice garden. The environment is lovely and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good too, fresh baguette and croissants. Easy to access from the motorway but super quiet. Bed was comfortable.

Would be nice to have a kettle in the room or some tea/coffee making facilities available.

Stingy on room drink sachets

Quiet good breakfast

Only 2 coffee sachets. No milk capsules. Only fruit or herbal tea. Asked for milk, black tea sachets and a couple more coffee sachets. I was told only 2 coffe sachets per room! I did receive 4 milk capsules and 2 black tea sachets though.

An ideal place to stop near Le Mans at a very reasonable price

Very friendly family run hotel who could not be more willing to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. We sat out in the garden for drinks and our snack supper. A limited snack menu but home made and very good. All that we needed 😋

Comfortable but will not return

Good location, lovely garden, room was small but perfectly adequate

25 minute wait to check in. Only one staff member on duty covering kitchen, bar and reception. Were told there was a long wait for food so probably best if we didn’t eat there - but nowhere nearby was open on a Sunday evening. We decided to have a picnic in the garden but were told that this was not allowed.

La Pommeraie one night stay

The garden is delightful and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge but had delicious croissants and a good choice of sweet and savoury food. The beds were comfortable.

The bedroom had a separate toilet which was extremely cramped and difficult to close the door when using. The inner door handle didn't work so if you closed the door you would have been locked inside. The facilities are looking a bit dated.

Lovely and convenient stopover when travelling through France

Brief stopover on our way back to Calais. Stayed with our dog. Lovely setting and very convenient for coming off the motorway. Just to be aware if travelling with pets, the hotel restaurant was closed to recommend a restaurant which was about 15 min walk. Unfortunately the restaurant didn’t allow dogs to ordered a takeaway instead. Would definitely stay agin

Lovely hotel, very clean with very friendly staff, lovely gardens. Breakfast was very nice. We used the hotel as a stop over on the way through France, the hotel is easy to get to from the local through routes.

The place is fine and very comfortable but no facilities

Room was small but comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast as we were leaving early but no bar or meals in the evening and a very long walk to any other place to eat

it was very clean and the reception staff were very friendly

we purposely booked a hotel which was Dog friendly, but when we arrived the owner of the hotel was very abrupt with us saying that we should have to,d him we were bringing a dog. we Hal’s it was wrong of us to assume that he did not need to be told before our arrival. for other people thinking of visiting this hotel with a dog be sure to mention it to the hotel in good time before you arrive. Also there was a notice in the room to say do not leave pets unattended in the room, but he was very reluctant to allow us into the breakfast area with the dog, which we found slightly bewildering. He did relent in the end

Very good

Lovely place to stay, easy to find location with very friendly and welcoming staff. Lots of parking. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. The room was small but comfortable with a good shower. Grounds and terrace perfect to sit with a drink. We had pre ordered the evening meal and it was 3 courses, well cooked and presented nicely. Excellent value. Left before breakfast so I can't comment on that but feel sure it would be good too.

Room was very small for 2 people. Nothing within walking distance, if you want to go out you need to get back in your car. However as I said the meal there was good so probably no need to.

Disappointing

location. Nice building and the gardens looked nice but it was raining heavily, access and car parking was private and good.

We were put in a basement style room ( under the pretence it was for our benefit to be closer to the door for our small dog) that smelt strongly of heating oil/fuel so much so I could not sleep. the beds weren't massively comfortable either and only 1 pillow available so had a very poor night sleep which is not great when you have a full day, next day on the road. Also upon arrival we were advised if you wanted to eat there you would have needed to book in advance even though that wasn't made clear at the time of booking it gave the impression they had a restaurant onsite. So after driving all day we had to get back in the car and go and look for somewhere to eat, in the rain. There is an amazing patisserie down the road for next morning croissants as we just wanted to get on the road.
