We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Logis St Flaceau. Manuela was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The Logis is ideally situated in the Plantagenet Quarter and the apartment is very clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We had everything we needed. Manuela, the owner, made us feel extremely welcome, and kindly recommended and booked a restaurant for us.

The property is ideally located in the old part of Le Mans. The accommodation is first class in every way. Spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable. Manuela was very easy to work with communicating quickly and helpfully. We were given a tour of the garden and some history about the beautiful building which dates back to the early 16th century. A tasty breakfast is included.

Perfect last night of our holiday.

Charming and enchanting apartment set right in the centre of the old town. Manuela was kind and welcoming and went over and above to make our stay memorable, even inviting us to join her in her private lounge for a very good glass of local wine before we went out for dinner. We were invited to see her stunning garden and learned lots about the history of her house. Secure Parking was a 3 minute walk away and only cost 5 euros for 24hrs, you are able to pull into the narrow street outside the house to unload which was great. Manuela also recommended a fabulous restaurant for us and even booked the table for us ensuring we received the best service and food. Great value too! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious with fresh bread, pastries, cheese, strawberries. Jams, fruit juices which are all left in the apartment for you. Such a kind host, even asking us if we would like water bottles for our trip home.

The only thing we didn’t like was the fact we had to leave! We are determined to return for a weekend break next year though.

Wonderful place with a wonderful host.

What a wonderfully magical place, full of history and character, but carefully renovated with all the modern comforts! All the positive comments from the other reviewers are spot on. You just have to come and stay here as well. Manuela is a wonderful host, who makes the stay even more memorable and makes you want to go back again!

A really lovely place to stay in the heat of historic Le Mans. We will be back!

The apartment was immaculate. Full of character, interesting artwork and books and all the facilities you could possibly need. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom sparkling clean with a great shower. Thank you Manuela for taking the time to welcome us so well, for the aperitif, the restaurant recommendation, the tour of your absolutely beautiful garden. What was incredible was that, unbeknown to me, my best friend Laura had stayed in the exact room the night before!! We obviously both have good taste!

The host was really lovely and easily contactable. She was very knowledgeable and gave us good tips. She showed us around her garden giving us a history of the area which was fantastic. Absolutely exceptional

Exceptional accommodation in a house dating back to 1520. The suite was very spacious with a kitchen accessible through a small stone doorway. It is equipped with everything you might need, even the refrigerator is filled with delicious breakfast items. Everything is absolutely neat and tidy and very comfortable. Manuela, the hostess, is exceptionally kind and caring. She made us feel welcome and at home really. Dear Manuela, again thank you for the great conversation and your amiability!

Architecture is amazing, location couldn’t be better and the facilities are great. Beautiful view and surroundings. The host is very helpful and informative, booking local restaurants for us and providing us with amazing local knowledge.

We feel as though we had a true French experience in Lemans, in great part , due to Manuela’s hospitality.

I chose this place because of the great reviews and what looked like to be comfortable accommodations for the two of us. We like space and third story room allowed for that. The location was in the middle of an ancient village oozing with character and history. There were many options for meals. Our host, Manuela, left great provisions for a leisurely breakfast of coffee, fruit, juice and delicious fresh brioche, that we enjoyed in what became our “home” for three days. Manuela was helpful in every way and we explored and enjoyed the visit to Lemans. Don’t miss visiting Saint Julien, I believe the largest church in France. Lucky us, we were there the week before the 24 Hour race and enjoyed the “scrutiny” and parade of cars five minutes from Logis Saint-Flaceau. Our stay was a delight. Though shopping is not high on our list, for those who like to shop, there was plenty to choose from.

An historic gem in a beautiful city.

This a a gem of a stay in the centre of old Le Mans. It you are able to stay there, then do so. Manuela is a thoughtful and helpful host. The apartment is in a building that is over 500 years old but the amenities are modern and spotless clean. Beds are comfortable and a super breakfast was provided.

There is no parking at the apartment but it was a short walk up from the central car park.

Exceptional experience in the most charming apartment.

This is a real hidden gem. Manuela was so welcoming, friendly and informative on not only the area but wines too! The apartment was truly beautiful and in the best position of the old town. Beautiful decor and amazing breakfast was provided by Manuela and everything was home made. We wished we had booked more nights! Le Mans is stunning with so much history we never knew. Manuela had booked us a table at a wonderful and friendly restaurant just down the road. The best part was being welcomed into Manuela’s apart to try wine and cheese! We would definitely come back.

This beautiful historic hotel was a nice setting. It was still very comfortable and modern. Theres a Great Bistro just steps away from the hotel. For drinks after, theres a nice cocktail lounge a few doors down.

Lovely old apartment in the old town.

The apartment was well kept, clean and comfortable. It is perfectly situated to walk round the Old Town, where the sites and restaurants are a stones throw away. You make your own breakfast in the apartment and Manuela is very conscientious about providing what you like for that. we were on the second floor where there are lovely views across Le Mans.

The property is amazing ! There is a lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom all of which are superb . Manuela (the host) has wonderful taste and has filled the property with wonderful furniture, pictures and bits and pieces she has collected, it’s fantastic ! The breakfast was superb with everything and more you could wish for. There’s a wonderful garden which is a haven of lovely plants and all sorts of wonderful things. Manuela is by far the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with , she speaks perfect English and couldn’t have been better, from the moment we arrived helping us store our bikes in her garden, to telling us all about the old town and wonderful stories and showing us around her wonderful home and garden. We can’t say enough about this property, can’t wait to return and would recommend it wholeheartedly !

Amazing stay!

We were at the apartment for one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Absolutely a unique, well kept accommodation. The apartment is gorgeous full of beautiful furniture ,art objets ,books and atmosphere .The location is fantastic right in the middle of the old town ( which is spectacular ) . Manuela was a true delight and made us feel extremely welcome the minute we arrived. The apartment had a wonderful view out over the city, was very spacious, well equipped and bed was very comfortable. Manuela kindly invited us for a drink before we went out to dinner and even booked the restaurant for us and the other guests also staying with her. The location of the Logis is right in the historical part of Le Mans with everything to hand and safe parking 5 minutes away. Would highly recommend Logis Saint-Flaceau and hope to stay again in the future.

Manuela was a perfect hostess and definitely makes the experience extra special. Architecture and interior is stunning and so fitting for the old town. Logis Saint-Flaceau is tucked away in the heart of the old town and a short walk from all attractions. Would without a shadow of a doubt recommend this stay to anyone stopping in Le Mans.

The whole experience was good enough to be repeated.

We really enjoyed the warm welcome from Manuela as well as meeting with her for an aperitif each evening of our stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The location was excellent for exploring the old city.

It was best to park in the nearest carpark before going to the Logis as parking is restricted at present near to the Logis.
