Wonderful stay and was greeted by Sylvia and her husband like a friend I had known all my life. I was made so welcome and the room and bed was super comfortable. Sylvia even organised non dairy milk for my morning coffee. Superb in every way!

Home from home comforts, the most genial hosts and located close to the city centre.

Maybe the second flight of stairs could be a little challenging. However, do we didn’t carry heavy luggage so they were ok for us

Spacious suite in a boutique chambre d'hôtes with very comfortable bed.

Victorine (our lovely host) was very accommodating and really interesting to talk to. Location was perfect, close to the main square and restaurants and the beautiful cathedral.

Best stay on our trip!

We stayed one night at Le Mancelle on our way to Spain and it was wonderful. The house is full of beautiful art and antiques, with so many interesting details. The hosts were the most lovely and welcoming people and our daughter loved her stay. Out of the three hotels we booked on our journey, this was definitely the best. Highly recommended, especially for families!

The house is beautiful and wonderfully quirky. There was a whole suite to stay in - bedroom, sitting room with tea and coffee and water, and a bathroom.

We are very long-legged (2m+) and the small standalone loo was small - luckily enough privacy to leave the door open. The shower room was a beautiful and functional room , though.

Superb stay at "La Mancelle" from the first minute minut to the last.

The breakfast was simple but very fresh and and more then enough. A lot of home made products, good coffee.

Maybe a little but too much decoration. But this is a very small remark.

Lovely comfortable and spacious accommodation with great hosts

This accommodation is on the top floor of a beautiful old town house on a quiet street within 5 minutes of the medieval old town of Le Mans. The suite is spacious with a separate lounge, the bed was very comfortable, there's a fabulous bathroom and there is interesting artwork, antiques and curios throughout the house. Our hosts were warm, knowledgable about the area and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with juice, coffee, pastries and homemade preserves and jams. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. Good for a single person or couple.

Top location and a wonderful host.

We had use of the entire top floor, which includes a bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom. There's in-room facilities for coffee and tea, which we always appreciate. The location is great - about a 10-15 walk into a wonderful historic neighborhood. The host clearly loves the town and provided lots of information about what to see and where to eat.

This didn't impact us but I would not recommend this place to people with mobility issues. You must go up two flights of stairs to reach to room.

We had a fantastic couple of nights, We would 100% recommend Le Mans for a short break.

everything about our stay was superb, our hosts could not of done more for us, including providing us with information as to where to visit, and pointing us in the direction of a fabulous restaurant. The accommodation was perfect and within a few minutes walk of all the attractions Le Mans has to offer. We are not big breakfast eaters, but everything on offer was fabulous, with homemade preserves and yogurt.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming B&B. A beautiful house artistically decorated with such wonderful hosts. Sylvie was so warm and friendly and her breakfast was superb too! Will recommend to friends and I can’t wait to visit again.

Charming!

The owner Sylvie is really lovely and full of stories. Wish we could have stayed longer. You get the whole top floor a bedroom, a lovely bathroom and a sitting room where you can make tea and coffee. The whole house is a collection of Knick knacks , paintings and some quirky pieces. We loved it and would def go again. We were also fortunate to be able to park outside.

A really lovely place to stay in the home of a very friendly couple who make you feel very welcome. Great size room which is very comfortable and with the added bonus of a little private lounge room with tea and coffee on the same floor.

The room was just perfect. I was transiting and needed a comfortable overnight stay, and I was not disappointed. The owner was amazing, really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also very good, lots of fresh and homemade produce.

The description on parking could be improved. It is on street and is a first come first served.

Отличное расположение дома в тихом месте с наличием бесплатных парковочных мест вокруг, шаговой доступности к старому городу и всем достопримечательностям, барам, ресторанам и магазинам. Нам были предоставлены для проживания просторные, уютные, чистейшие, очень комфортные, с любовью оформленные и оснащенные всем необходимым и даже больше спальня, гостиная и ванная комната, занимающие весь третий этаж дома Сильви и Ксавье. Французский завтрак, который готовила нам Сильви, был всегда свежим и очень вкусным! От всего сердца благодарим Сильви и Ксавье за теплый и радушный прием в их гостеприимном удивительном доме, похожем на шкатулку с драгоценностями, привезенными со всего света. Но самыми главными драгоценностями этого дома являются их замечательные хозяева, создавшие уникальную гостеприимную атмосферу для всех гостей, которые переступая его порог, чувствуют себя в обществе старых и любимых друзей!!! Мы прожили у Сильви и Ксавье три дня и совершенно не хотелось расставаться ни с хозяевами, ни с их чудесным домом. Дорогие Сильви и Ксавье, процветания и удачи вам во всем!!!

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons bénéficié d'un accueil bienveillant et sympathique. Sylvie et Xavier sont des hôtes très agréables et attentifs. La chambre est très confortable avec un petit salon privatif et une belle SDB bien équipée. L'emplacement de leur maison est exceptionnel pour découvrir la vieille ville à pieds. A recommander sans hésiter !

Une très bonne adresse pour une nuit au Mans

Une belle grande chambre d'hôtes, comprenant un salon, une grande salle de bain et une chambre spacieuse, à l'étage de la maison de Sylvie et Xavier. Sylvie est une hôte charmante ( écoutez la vous raconter des anecdotes sur la ville du Mans, un régal 😃) La propreté est irréprochable et la literie d'un confort que je n'avais encore jamais rencontré ( matelas à mémoire de forme). Très bon petit déjeuner, composé de produits de qualité. A un quart d'heure à pied de la cathédrale et à proximité immédiate du très beau jardin des plantes

Nid douillet proche du centre-ville

Sylvie nous a accueilli chaleureusement ! On est tout de suite à l’aise et on se sent comme à la maison. Les lits sont très confortables et la maison est très proche du centre-ville donc parfait pour découvrir Le Mans. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation !
